TRIBUTE TO HOLY VIRGIN MARY

One of the most beloved as well as magical-mysterious women in modern times.
A lady figure wrapped in cloths and rags as the example of a virgin mom of her son born around Christmas.
She is considered holy, blessed, exemplary and virtuous.

Maria in Greek, from the Hebrew Maryam, Maria, Miriam perhaps "desired child,", "bitter", "rebellious", or "strong waters ", or in Egyptian "beloved - love".

MYSTERY-MYSTICS-MAGIC
An oddity.
Started painting around 1995.
And then there was such a typical oddity.
My fifth painting.
The sketch, the design, a silhouette turned to the right.
The lessons of light and dark.
Especially dark and light.
Egyptian, Crowned, Javanese, Arjuna, Wayang, Green.
But also Fashionable, Glamour, Strong, Distinguished.
Mysterious, Dangerous, Deadly and Straightforward.
Frans Erkelens, my painting master, saw her as...
Cleaving through the deep waters of the Indian Ocean.
Then suddenly a rainbow colors her face.
Reflection of the outside light.
Then came the blow!
Hit by heavy punches.
Envy, Anger, Disgust, Reaction.
And the painting was hit!
Two tears in the cloth...
Her sleep, and Arjuna...
Affected!
One minute later...
The "Waringin" tree.
The Ficus microcarpa 'Ginseng' is vibrating.
Suddenly, a rustling, stronger, violent...
And all the leaves fall from the branches.
On the ground at the same time!
Disbelief!
What? Who? For what?
I'm really scared.
Frans cries...
And decides to repair the damaged linen.
This is how I learn how to do that.
Quite a process.
