Het is herfstvakantie! Bezoek Escher in Het Paleis en geniet van de kunst van M.C. Escher en van de tijdelijke tentoonstelling Escher & Islamic Art: 20 Perspectives. We zijn de hele week open, ook op maandag! Op woensdagmiddag organiseren we een speciale workshop waarin bezoekers hun eigen vlakvulling kunnen maken. Kinderen kunnen samen met hun vader, moeder of ander familielid aan de slag. Op beide zondagen is er een kinderworkshop linoleum snijden, waarin ze zelf aan de slag gaan en een eigen grafisch werk maken. Daarnaast is er een speciale speurtocht voor gezinnen waarin zowel de kunst van Escher als die van 20 hedendaagse kunstenaars centraal staan. Dus kom naar Escher in Het Paleis en beleef de herfst!
It’s the autumn half-term! Visit Escher in The Palace and enjoy the art of M.C. Escher and the temporary exhibition ‘Escher & Islamic Art: 20 Perspectives’. We’re open all week, including on Monday the 19th! On Wednesday afternoon, we’re organising a special workshop where visitors can create their own pattern. Children can get creative together with their mum, dad or another family member. On both Sundays, there’s a children’s linocut workshop, where they can get hands-on and create their own graphic artwork. There’s also a special treasure hunt for families, focusing on both Escher’s art and that of 20 contemporary artists. So come to Escher in The Palace and make the most of autumn!
