In 1936 two legendary potters in this regio (Peter Linders and Wim Jansen) started their De Olde Kruyk, throwing flowerpots with earthenware clay from the surrounding countryside. In 1986 we bought the withered pottery and gave it a new appearance. To commemorate 88 years of pottery under the same name, we published a set of stamps, highlighting our latest works in stoneware, based on sculptured towers with mythological contents and wheelthrown tulip pyramides, based on Ming and Delft traditions.
A 100 years of clay tradition should be within reach!
