Leather, creativity and a table full of ideas.

Today we had two lovely workshops at the studio: our Leather Journal Cover Workshop and Leather Bag Workshop. It was so much fun to see everyone start with the same material and end up with something completely different.

A little piece of Amsterdam, made by you.

On Wednesday 15 July, artist and illustrator Ellie Middleton joins us at the studio for a special 3D card workshop.

Using drawing, painting and paper, you'll create your own foldable Amsterdam cityscape. Choose the layout you love and follow Ellie's process step by step, turning a flat piece of paper into your own little piece of the city.

Some drawing, sketching or painting experience can be helpful, but you don't need to be an experienced artist to join.

Aankomend weekend verandert onze ateliervloer in een Makers Markt.

Tijdens het Wallen Festival ontmoet je kunstenaars, ontwerpers en creatieve ondernemers die hun werk laten zien en graag vertellen over hun proces.

Maak onder andere kennis met:

Alexander Hadden – schilder en de nieuwe docent van onze schildercursus. Zijn werk beweegt zich tussen realisme en abstractie, met veel ruimte voor experiment, intuïtie en expressie.

Ariane A.T. James – fotograaf met een poëtische blik op landschap, natuur en verstilling.

Ook Lua, studio encore en andere lokale makers zijn aanwezig met hun werk en verhalen.

Kom langs, maak kennis met de makers en ontdek wat er ontstaat wanneer creativiteit, vakmanschap en nieuwsgierigheid samenkomen.

During the Wallen Festival, you're invited to drop by for our free Create-á-thon. Come in, have a look around, join a workshop and make something with your own hands.

We'll have mosaic, upcycling, painting, jewellery making and more.

No experience needed.
No need to sign up.
Stay for ten minutes or two hours.

Maak kennis met

Florence werkt sinds 2021 bij ons op de ateliervloer en zet haar passie voor sneakers elke dag om in nieuwe creaties. Het is een feest om te zien hoe ze elk paar tot leven brengt.

Met Studio Encore geeft ze sneakers een tweede leven. Van reinigen en verven tot het vervangen van versleten zolen door karaktervolle Vibram-zolen. Elk paar wordt met de hand gerestaureerd en krijgt een eigen, creatieve signatuur.

Heb je een paar oude sneakers waar je nog aan gehecht bent? Florence kijkt graag met je mee naar wat er mogelijk is.

Je kunt je sneakers opsturen of langskomen in het atelier aan de Oudeschans.
