However, the term between the two people is fraught with different controversies. As such, the quality love between these people are from generation to another. Though they may not be biological brothers but they walked as brothers amongst others. These folks has long troubled some notable personalities and other academic writers across the eastern part of Nigeria, Nkanu East and Awgu Local government area precisely. It is worth of note that the people of Nara Unateze emanated from Ogwugwueze in the present day of Awgu while Amagunze are the descendants of a particular clan in Amagu Ikwo in the present day of Ebonyi State...
According to some interviews we had with some few notable elders from Unateze at Ogwugweze during they ancestral homage. History has it that the major relationship between them was that Amagunze mother happened to be a daughter of Nara. Another interview we had with some people of Amagunze and research has it that their relationship is not truly blood but friendship that turn to deep brothers. It happened that some group of Nara people came to Amagunze on a fateful day to trade as usual. On their way back, the river overflew the bank and the Nara people has to disembark and take shelter in Amagunze. They were well catered for.
The following day, Amagunze people helped them to cross over to continue the journey back home. On the way, they met Nara people who being worried that their kinsmen didn't return home, were on a fact-finding mission in Amagunze. Their kinsmen then explained to them what happened with and from there, the relationship started.
However, it is imperative to point out that the different definitions comes inn as our first research work, while we continue to dig into more with time constraints and service. Some folks may make someone to doubt or believe in different act through what they heard from they parent or kindred about the relationship but we encourage other historians to do the needful.
