Yesterday,we clocked 25 years in marriage!
Already?
Glory be to God!
It seems like 'the other day'. Someone dear to us, called us to 'remind' us. Wow!
How time flies.
God has been the one all along. He has held us together. With Him, the battles won outweigh the ones we fought; because He turned and turns everything to our favour.
Along the way, we have been blessed with good people, people like you who wish us well, who prayed and pray for us - you are more than numbers. Thank you!!
😒 Hmmm, I know, I won't forget you who didn't agree with us. Your trouble(s) helped us to know how to navigate 'trouble waters', so, you were (are) also useful. Thank you too 😃.
We pray to be better, with God who is always on our side.
It becomes a jolly- good- ride when you trust God, and when you love, respect and trust each other. Our pastor ( Rev.Dr. David Ogbueli) said to us then...' I don't wed people, I covenant them'.
That's really 👍 true, because we have come to understand that marriage is a covenant laced with love, trust, sacrifice, giving, forgiveness, peace, patience and many other attendant virtues.
We are not there yet, but we will keep on enjoying it- our union, our marriage.
We will keep trusting, praying and believing God all the way.
Also with your prayers and good wishes, God will continue to help us.
The road is still far, the journey is a long one. So we entreat you to join us in thanking God Almighty, who has made it ( everything) possible all these while.
May your own marriage, union or relationship be also, 'made in heaven', as we believe ours was (is).
..we may not be what we prayed for, but we are answers to our prayers!!
