Penang Colonial Museum

Penang Colonial Museum A heritage building that has been beautifully revived with a curated collection of antique furniture

After a two-year hiatus from the pandemic, Penang Colonial Museum is relaunching after a careful restoration. The heritage building has been beautifully revived with a curated collection of antique furniture and art. Most of the pieces are from the 20th century and before, some dating back to the 17th century. A walk through the museum would be like turning back the clock, bringing a sense of sere

nity and quiet wonder as you marvel at the architecture and interior of the historical mansion. Pay a visit and unwind on original colonial furniture on the verandah surrounded by a garden of centennial trees to take it all in. Watch out for our upcoming updates on the re-opening in end 2022!
