The Art People Gallery Launch at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya

This October, as a result of a collaboration between Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya and The Art People Gallery (TAPG), we are delighted to announce the opening of our new gallery space on the first floor of the hotel. Debuting with our inaugural exhibition, PLACES, this partnership creates a dynamic environment where art, hospitality, and local heritage converge to celebrate Malaysian identity.

From its flagship in Klang to its international presence in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as its satellite gallery at Plaza Premium Lounge, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, this marks a new chapter for TAPG as it expands its mission to champion artists and creative talent across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

With more than 20 participating artists, the opening exhibition, PLACES, celebrates the journeys and relationships that have shaped TAPG’s growth and introduces the gallery’s new home at Hotel Armada.

Experiencing the Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong together with you reminded us why we do this. We met so many wonderful people and saw happy buyers walking around with beautiful artworks—carefully held, proudly carried, and clearly loved. The moment you lift that bag and head out with your new pieece, it genuinely puts a smile on us.
Thank you for supporting art and our artists. We are so grateful you trusted us with your collection.

So grateful for the opportunity to welcome Art Loop Hong Kong kids at Affordable Art Fair HK💛

At the fair, we hosted the children in small groups at different time intervals, where they were introduced to recognisable Hong Kong snack artist Margaret Lau’s artwork—along with the exciting concept of hyper-realism.

Watching them first discover the details, then getting completely mesmerized by the surreal qualities of the pieces, truly warmed our hearts. Their curiosity and excitement reminded us why art education matters—hoping this spark inspires them to keep drawing, painting, and exploring their own creativity. ✨🎨

Thank you, Art Loop Hong Kong for bringing such wonderful energy to the fair. We can’t wait to see where their imagination goes next!
