Thank you all who contributed to our SDG month focus To Plant More Trees! The Sustainable Development Goals are 17 goals committed by country members of the United Nations towards a responsible, aware, equal, and sustainable future. A big task but progress has been made and it starts with small steps. We are also signatory to the SDG Publisher’s Compact to promote the SDGs. Bersama Membina Dunia Yang Lebih Baik! The keyword is really Bersama as the children learned when they worked together to create the posters.

Join the Duke Museum for SDG Month in July. Draw, cut or just colour trees and ‘plant’ them all around the cardboard city and house. The more adventurous can create your own cardboard houses, or add animals, people and more. Free and fun activity for all.

The other day we had a video shoot with a hotel group and we were asked to describe what we do. Briefly, the Museum of Picture Book Art also known as the Duke Museum after one of our founders is about 3 things.
1. Picture books
2. Art
3. History
80% of our books have local content by local writers and illustratirs. You can also find original art as well as prints. We have a collection of rare books and we reproduce selected titles with our own inhouse binding facilities. Every month we change the theme, add new items and move around displays and conduct related wiorkshops so it’s never boring. So what is the Duke Museum about? It’s part Gallery, part Museum and part Bookshop! Most of all we hope it’s inspiring for all visitors.
