📸“Scars of War”An International Photography and Art Exhibition will soon be presented at Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery.

🌍The exhibition is an international cultural initiative that brings together humanitarian documentation and contemporary art to explore the enduring human consequences of armed conflict.

Organized by the International Campaign to Ban Landmines – Cluster Munition Coalition (ICBL-CMC), the Global Chinese Art & Culture Society, and the Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery, the exhibition features over 30 documentary photographs by Alison Locke, Cory Wright, Giovanni Diffidenti and Werner Anderson, alongside four original artworks by Professor Lin Xiang Xiong.

We were delighted to welcome 27 students from PIBK SJKC Li Tek B Pulau Pinang last Saturday for a day of art, exploration and creativity at Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery.

Their visit began with a guided tour, followed by a hands-on workshop where each student created and coloured their own face on a triangle-shaped piece of paper. Together, their individual creations came to life as one colourful collective artwork! 🖼️✨

The Story Behind the Lens | Tan Min Yaw

Tan Min Yaw shares his creative process behind capturing the exterior of the gallery with a drone. Through the golden moment of sunset, he highlights how photography is not only about composition, but also about capturing the right timing.

💡Photography Tip:
A great composition comes through continuous exploration. Keep experimenting with different angles and perspectives to find the best way to tell a visual story.

Every photograph tells a unique story. Featuring 165 works by photographers across Malaysia, this exhibition explores the connection between architecture, space, and people.
