From coffee grounds to beautiful keepsakes! ☕✨

As part of Penang Hill Festival 2026 (PHF2026), Edgecliff Gallery@Penang Hill was delighted to host the Coffee Ground Pendant Workshop by Haus by Wildmums on 19 July 2026.

Participants had the unique opportunity to transform used coffee grounds into handcrafted pendants, discovering how everyday materials can be given a second life through creativity and sustainable practices. The hands-on workshop was a wonderful reminder that small actions can make a meaningful impact on our environment.

Through art, sustainability, and mindful living, participants explored innovative ways to reduce waste while creating their very own eco-friendly souvenirs to take home.

Discovering Penang's hidden primates, one story at a time! 🐒🌿

As part of Penang Hill Festival 2026 (PHF2026), Edgecliff Gallery@Penang Hill was delighted to host two inspiring Nature Talk sessions on 18 July 2026 by Dr. Jo Leen Yap, Founder of Langur Project Penang.

Participants gained valuable insights through "Bringing Penang's Hidden Primates Back into the Spotlight, One Bridge at a Time", where Dr. Jo shared the remarkable conservation efforts to protect Penang's arboreal wildlife and reconnect fragmented forest habitats through wildlife canopy bridges.

Our young nature enthusiasts were equally captivated by "The Story of Sebastian: A Pig-Tailed Macaque's Journey in Penang" – a delightful storytelling session that brought Sebastian's adventures to life while nurturing empathy and appreciation for Malaysia's incredible wildlife.

These meaningful sessions remind us that conservation begins with awareness, and every effort—big or small—can help safeguard the rich biodiversity of the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve for generations to come.

𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤: 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 during 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐏𝐇𝐅𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔)

Despite the cloudy skies and rainy weather, more than 50 enthusiastic participants joined us for an exciting evening of astronomy and stargazing at Penang Hill. While the weather limited our view of the stars, participants had the opportunity to learn about the wonders of the night sky, celestial objects, and the fascinating world of astronomy.

Thank you to everyone who made the evening a memorable and inspiring experience. We look forward to welcoming you again for more unique adventures at Penang Hill!

Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) was honoured to welcome participants of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP): Economic Diplomacy Course for International Participants on a visit to Penang Hill.

The delegation was led by Mrs. Maslina Ngah Mamud, Director of the Centre for Political Studies and Economic Diplomacy, Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, the delegation toured Edgecliff Gallery@Penang Hill and The Habitat Penang Hill, while taking in the breathtaking scenery and natural beauty of Penang Hill.
PHC hopes the delegation enjoyed their visit and had a memorable experience exploring the beauty of Penang Hill.
