Established in 2012, Residencia Gorila is an artist residency and retreat based in Tulum, Mexico. Driven by collaborative creation, Gorila hosts multidisciplinary artists from around the globe in a communal environment surrounded by nature. With a strong focus on the environment, social awareness, connectivity and cooperation, Gorila provides a unique setting for artists to immerse themselves in a

community where shared living experience and collaboration provide the groundwork for creative endeavors and outreach. Public art projects, workshops, multi-media presentations, and special events are conceived and executed as a team, allowing creative disciplines to coalesce and compliment each other.
