Puerto Vallarta 👑🇲🇽✨

23/09/2026

We’re back from an incredibly inspirational art trip to Mexico City and are excited to have enlisted 10 new artists to be represented by ArtWork Galeria. We will have a lot of new work ready for the high season and can’t wait to share it with you.

Our permanent artists, including Qvetzal, Lencho, Patti Gallardo and Bonnie Metzger, will be debuting, new art, and new directions in solo exhibits throughout the season, along with other local artists. In addition, we have new cultural events on the roster, so be sure to keep an eye out for announcements and drop in for some interesting events.

We appreciate the support we’ve received in our first year in Vallarta and look forward to many more to come .

One of ArtWork’s artists is Qvetzal whose knowledge about art history, in general, and Mexican art specifically makes him a fascinating conversationalist.

Today in Mexico City, his birthplace, he took ArtWork’s owner around the museums to view art. This clip in which he discusses the Diego Rivera murals was fascinating and worthy of sharing with you.

To see Qvetzal’s paintings, visit ArtWork when we reopen next Monday, September 22. A solo exhibit of his new direction and existing work is slated for High Season.

¡Viva Mexico! From Mexico.
