Ilustracion para Sorcery TCG Gothic,

La ultima mis ilustraciones liberadas para Sorcery este año, mucho del estilo esta inspirado en ilustraciones de viejas portadas de revistas pulp de los años 40s. Se indico hacer un culto haciendo un extraño ritual convocando un demonio gigante. Papa ayudo con las poses de los personajes como siempre, la cara del demonio grande es practicamente su rostro. Hay un monton de detalles escondidos por toda la imagen. Fue un año extraño haciendo todas ilustraciones, esto mantuvo mi mente ocupada afortunadamente, feliz de haber formado parte de este proyecto. The last of my ilustrations released for Sorcery in this year, much of the style is very inspired by ilustrations of old pulp magazine covers of the 40s. I was instructed to create a group of cultists convocating a giant demon in a strange ritual. Dad helped with the poses of the characters, the giant demon face is practically his face. There´s a ton of hidden details across the image. It was a strange year creating all these ilustrations, this kept my mind occupied fortunately, happy to have been part of this proyect. Let´s keep working 🙂🖌️🎨

Esta ilustracion se indicaba que debia ilustrar un fanatico religioso que fuera rapido y juzgara rapidamente. Salieron todos estos conceptos y me dijeron que escogiera el que mas me agradara, asi que me fui por el del demonio susurrando al oido de este fanatico religioso. Tambien se indico le diera una fuerte silueta que contrastara con el fondo. Para esta imagen, andaba muy metido en el tema de muralismo mexicano supongo que eso influyo en la creacion de la imagen.
P.S. Este personaje aparece en otra carta que ilustre 👀

In this illustration I was instructed to create a religious fanatic that was fast and quick to judge. I came up with these concepts and I was told that I should choose which one I liked the most, so I went with the one where the demon whispers in the religious fanatic ear. I was also indicated to give it a strong silhouette that should contrast with the bakground. For this image I was really into the subject of mexican muralism at the moment, so I guess that influenced the creation of this image.

En esta ilustracion se me solicito hacer un zepelin con varios cultistas encima de el, simbolos magicos en el globo. Esta de hecho no entendi bien en un principio lo que me dijeron y termine haciendo unos conceptos muy diferentes a la idea final, en un principio pense querian un globero usando globos con sellos magicos, al final se aclaro la confusion y entendi que debia hacer un vehiculo 🤦‍♂️. Ya con eso aclarado hice esto, mi idea era que el zepelin estaba hecho con el cadaver de un gigante y quise llenarlo de pequeñas escenas, personajes y detalles, algo parecido a el arte que se suele ver en empaques de juguetes, describi que haria algo estilo juguetes Mighty Max. La parte de abajo es oscura porque en un principio entendia que esta seccion debia permanecer oscura o con pocos detalles para la caja de texto. Aun creo que los conceptos rechazados eran buenas ideas 😅

In this ilustration I was indicated to do a zeppelin with magic symbols and various cultists on it. This one in fact at the beggining I didnt understand correctly the instruction and end up making some completely differents concepts from the final ilustratin drawing a ballon man with ballons stamped with magical seals, after the confusion was clarified I understood that I had to do a vehicle instead 🤦‍♂️With this clarified, I came up with this my idea for a zepelin is that it was made with the co**se of a giant, I decided that I wanted to fill it with various scenes, characters and details, something similar to what you see in toy art packages, I described that I would do something similar to Mighty Max toys, The lower part is dark cause at the beggining I thought this section was needed to remain dark or with little ammount of detail for the textbox. I stil believe the rejected concepts were good ideas 😅

Para esta imagen se indico hacer un exorcista expulsando un demonio, se me ocurrio esta escena con la silueta del diablo observando el ritual detras del sacerdote, siempre desde las sombras tramando, tal vez molesto al ver a uno de sus esbirros siendo expulsado. Para los objetos del exorcista estudie sobre exorcismos y objetos utilizados para protecction . En la mano izquierda esta un objeto inspirado en un "Tazon de encantacion" un objeto utilizado antiguamente para atrapra demonios, las inscripciones en espiral de su interior se suponia atraerian a demonios a su interior atrapandolos en los tazones. En la mano derecha se encuentra un incensario muy comunmente utilizado en ceremonias religiosas. Pare el exorcista pues pose yo, porque pense que si podria parecer un exorcista ya viejo? 🤷‍♂️ el fondo esta texturizado, de hecho fue un accidente, pero me agrada como la textura le da ese aspecto de cuarto viejo.

For this image I was indicated to draw an exorcist expelling a demon, I came up with this image with the silouette of the devil observing the ritual behind the priest, allways watching from the shadows, maybe irritated as he see´s one of his minions getting expelled. For the objects of the exprcist I studied exorcisms and objects commonly used in these sort of rituals. In the left there´s an object inspired by "Incantation bowls" an object used in the past to trap demons inside of them, the spiral inscriptions were supposed to attract demons to its interior and trap them in the bowls. The right hand has an Thurible (incense burner) commonly used in religious ceremonies. For the exorcist, I posed, cause well I thought maybe I could play the part of an old exorcist? 🤷‍♂️ the background is textured, was an accident in fact, but I like how the texture gives it that old room look.
