THE ECO-ART OF SCULPTING SILHOUETTES IN LEAVES

Deep in the Copper Canyons of Northern Mexico, there grows a unique tree. These leaves grow in many different shapes and sizes, but the most remarkable quality that they have is how strong and flexible they are. Even years after falling off of the tree and turning yellow, these leaves do not get brittle and fragile like most leaves. They still remain strong and can be bent without breaking years later. These unique qualities allow the artists of Natur-Art to carve exquisite silhouettes into the leaves. By using needles to poke out the flesh of the leaves, the artists keep the veins of the leaves intact. The remaining green creates the visually striking images that the artists’ of Natur-Art create. These pieces of natural sculptures and eco-art have been recognized internationally for their artistry and exquisite attention to detail. They have been displayed in art museums in the United States and Mexico and have been bought by leading art collectors throughout the world. Whether they are creating the Eiffel tower, elephants on the Savanah, or a company's logo, each leaf is a piece of art that is sure to astound and amaze viewers for generations to come.
