Horacio Gavito, artisan from Mexico City, creates mixed media dioramas representing Mexican stores from the past. He will be in Ajijic as an invited artisan for the Feria Maestros del Arte in November. The museum has 5 of his creations on display as part of the permanent collection. Come see!

José Alberto Gonzalez Montoya of Chiapas will be back in Ajijic in November for Feria Maestros del Arte. That is where I first met him and his talented family and bought the first of several pieces. Three pieces in our collection are given the most visitor attention and his is one - come see for yourself.

The museum has a religious processional scene of figures by Pablo Goche of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. My favorite figure in the scene is the man who lights the firecrackers because he has the most mischievous grin on his face. This is the artisan, Pablo Goche.
