Malta Postal Museum & Arts Hub This state of the art building is spread over four floors. It offers a run through of Maltese history from the 15th century.

The Museum also boasts of two gallery spaces, a large audio-visual room and a boutique shop. The Ellis and Cremona galleries offer a collection of photographic prints by Richard Ellis and what is arguably the finest collection of art works under one roof by Emvin Cremona, one of the best Maltese artists of the 20th century.

Internationally recognized for his photography, Stuart Franklin has documented some of the most significant events of recent history, including the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests as a member of Magnum Photos.
Alongside his photographic practice, Franklin has spent the past decade returning to drawing, painting, and etching through works that explore landscape and memory. This exhibition marks the first major presentation of this transition, offering a rare opportunity to encounter his paintings and etchings rather than the photography for which he is best known.
Franklin continues in 2026 as an Affiliate Professor at the University of Malta. His work has been exhibited internationally and is held in collections worldwide.

An exhibition of oil paintings and etchings across two galleries exploring analogy within themes of landscape, or figures in the landscape, and memory. โ€œAnalogy is a means of creationโ€, wrote Pierre Reverdy, an early surrealist poet, and an abiding influence on Franklinโ€™s current work. The title pays homage to Luigi Pirandelloโ€™s play, 'Six Characters in Search of an Authorโ€™. Stuart Franklinโ€™s studio is in Gozo where all the paintings were completed between 2016-2026.
