We're off on our jollies! The gallery (and Hev's workshop) will be closed from the 10th to the 18th of August so that Hev and Pierre can bod off to Italy and stare at the mountains 😁

We'll be back on the 19th of August with renewed energies and full of creativity 😍

We have a new event, led by Caroline Said Lawrence - The Strait Street Sketching on Wednesday from 17:30 til 19:30! Join us for sketching on the steps of Strait Street, where Caroline will guide you to look closely at the perspective of the streetscape. All materials are available, and it's €10 per person. You can bring your own pencils, paper, etc., and please remember to bring water to stay hydrated!

Meet, Make and Collaborate!

Bring whatever you're working on to meet people, make friends and art. We'll be sketching, stitching, seeking inspo and sharing knowledge for a few hours on the 11th of June at 7:30 pm in Valletta.

It's free to join, and we ask for a small donation to cover refreshments. You can also grab a glass of vino from Trabuxu ;)

Long-time friend and teacher of Galea's, Franco Navarro, is back, leading this intensive workshop!

Discover the immediacy and expressive power of alla prima oil painting in this three-session workshop hosted at The Gallery at Galea's.
Led by Maltese artist and art educator Franco Navarro, a graduate of the Malta School of Art and the University of Malta, this workshop will guide you through the art of wet-on-wet painting, completing a work in a single sitting with confidence and spontaneity.

Over three sessions, you will explore colour mixing, value relationships, and decisive brushwork, building your skills progressively week by week.
