ArtVenture is for those who appreciate any and all forms of art. Art has no boundaries and no limits, all innovation has come from new interpretations of what we already know. ArtVenture encourgaes exploration and the exchange of experiences and views. Thihan Kyaw, a passionate art and design aficionado, dreamt up this space in September 2015 for collaboration and to display all sorts of talent. A
rtVenture is a place where you can find a range of artsy fartsy things such as designer clothing, paintings, handicrafts, laquerware, gifts, etc. carefully hand chosen by Thihan and his talented friends in related industries such as Aung Lay, Fashion Editor & Stylist and Thiri Kyaw, Fashion Designer, etc. Currently available brands in the shop include: oil paintings by artist Aung Moe Lwin, women’s evening wear by the high fashion design house Poise Couture, ready-to-wear clothing by Tytenium, authentic Myanmar lacquerware from Everstand (Bagan), and floral & gift services by Lo. This is not just a retail shop, there will be monthly artist discussion sessions & workshops and we provide style suggestions from our stylists on request! We are very honored to have had artist Moe Nyo, Myanmar’s legendary watercolor artist, be a part of our first discussion session with ITE students from Singapore. We have also partnered with MultiVerse Asia to bring Myanmar’s creative community together and film short youtube videos called Art to Art (season 1) where artisits talk to each other about what it is like for them to pursue their passions.
