The Mirrors of Rural Japan 🌾🏡

මගේ Apartment එක ළගින් ගත්ත photo එකක්. මේ දවස් වල ජපානෙ ගොවිතැන් වැඩ. වැස්ස කාලෙත් දැන් කිට්ටුයි මෙහේ.

Springtime walks near my apartment mean views like this! ⛅️ Right now, the rice paddies are flooded for the new planting season, turning the countryside into a series of beautiful, natural mirrors.
As an artist, the geometric lines of the green shoots stretching toward the traditional Japanese house are pure visual poetry. It's so peaceful out here away from the crowded cities. 💚

Floating Over Kobe🚡🌊

ජපානයේ Kobe නගරයේ සුන්දරත්වය අහසට පෙනෙන විදිහ! මේ යන්නේ Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens එක බලන්න.

Taking a ride on the ropeway to escape into nature! 🌿✨ This cable car takes you straight up the mountain to the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens, giving you a breathtaking birds eye view of the city and the harbor below.

The contrast between the deep green forest and the modern city skyline stretching out to the sea is absolutely beautiful. Japan constantly finds ways to mix massive urban cities with peaceful mountain nature. 🏙️⛰️

The Marble Marvel of Japan 🏛️☁️

ජපානය ඇතුළේ තියෙන පුංචි ඉතාලිය! මේ සුන්දර නිර්මාණය තියෙන්නේ Onomichi වල පිහිටි Hill of Hope (Miraikan) කියන ස්ථානයේයි.

Is this really Japan? 🧐 It’s hard to tell when you’re standing in the middle of 3,000 tons of white Italian marble! 🇮🇹 This stunning sculpture is known as the "Tower of Light."

The contrast between the sharp, geometric marble and the dramatic Japanese sky is absolutely breathtaking. It’s a place where modern art meets spiritual tradition, and it's definitely a hidden gem here in Hiroshima. 🎨✨

ඔයාලා දන්නවද මේ කොහෙද කියලා🤔

මේ තමයි ජපානයේ Wakayama prefecture එකේ පිහිටි සුප්‍රසිද්ධ Seiganto-ji විහාරය සහ Nachi දියඇල්ල. මෙහි විශේෂත්වය තමයි Nachi දියඇල්ල ජපානයේ තිබෙන තනි ධාරාවක් ලෙස පහළට ඇද හැලෙන උසම දියඇල්ල වීම (මීටර් 133).

වසර 1600 කට වඩා පැරණි ඉතිහාසයක් ඇති මේ ස්ථානය යුනෙස්කෝ ලෝක උරුමයක් ලෙසත් නම් කර තිබෙනවා.

Did you know that this waterfall drops a staggering 133 meters in one single go? That’s Nachi Falls, a place so sacred that the water itself is worshipped as a god.

Next to it stands the beautiful pagoda of Seiganto-ji, a temple that has welcomed pilgrims for centuries. Being a student of art here in Japan, I am constantly amazed by how the architecture fits so perfectly into the mountains. ✍️🇯🇵

Miyajima

This is the famous Great Torii Gate at Itsukushima Shrine. This shrine is a UNESCO world heritage site and has been considered a sacred place for over 800 years. Did you know that at high tide, it looks like it’s floating on the sea, but at low tide, you can actually walk right up to it?🚶🏼‍♂️✨

As I settle into university life here, I’ll be sharing more of these incredible sights and the sketches they inspire🇯🇵

Hello!! ඔයාල හැමෝම හොදින් ඉන්නවා කියලා හිතනවා👀

ගොඩක් කාලෙකින් post එකක් share කරන්නවත් drawing එකක් කරන්නවත් ලොකුවට වෙලාවක් තිබුනේ නෑ. දැනට මම ජපානෙ uni එකක මගේ degree එක complete කරන ගමන්, කැම්පස් එකේ art club එකකටත් බැදුනා. ලොකුවට ඒකෙ වැඩ වලටත් යන්න උනේ නෑ ඇත්තටම🙁

ළගදි මගේ අක්කා එක්ක කතා කර කර ඉද්දි එයාගෙ යෝජනාවක් එක්ක, මමත් ටිකක් කල්පනා කරලා හිතුවා ආයෙම මේ page එකෙන් ඔයාලට වටින කියන දේවල් ටිකක් share කරන්න. Drawings, painting, portrait වගේම මම හිතුවා ජපානේ artist කෙනෙක්ගෙ ඇසින් මොනවගේද, කොච්චර ලස්සන රටක්ද කියල පෙන්නන්න😉

මම තාම drawing කරන විදි, techniques ඉගෙන ගන්නවා, ඒත් මම තනියම ඉගෙනගත්ත හැම දෙයක්ම ගුරු මුෂ්ටියක් නැතුව ඔයාලට දෙන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා🙌🏾
