풍요로운 가을, 송은은 추석 연휴를 맞이하여 9월 24일(목)부터 27일(일)까지 휴관하며 잠시 쉬어가는 시간을 갖습니다. 9월 28일(월)부터 다시 문을 여니 방문 일정에 참고해 주시기 바랍니다. 🌕
박그림 작가의 작품에는 지나간 사랑과 그 기억을 품고 살아가는 마음이 담겨 있습니다. 어머니에게 받은 사랑과 기억은 불감(佛龕)의 형식 안에 호접란, 산개, 나무 염주 등의 상징으로 표현되며, 이해와 사랑, 보호와 축복, 시간의 축적이라는 의미를 전합니다. 작품은 지나간 사랑과 시간이 한때의 꿈처럼 멀어지더라도, 계절이 다시 돌아오듯 삶 속에서 다시 떠오르고 이어질 수 있음을 이야기합니다.
이번 추석에는 소중한 분들과 함께 따뜻하고 평안한 시간 보내시길 바랍니다.

As we welcome the abundance of autumn and the Chuseok holiday, SONGEUN will be closed from Thursday, September 24 through Sunday, September 27. We will reopen on Monday, September 28, so please take this into account when planning your visit. 🌕
Grim Park’s work holds the memory of love now past and the experience of continuing to live within it. The love and memory the artist received from his mother take shape in the form of a 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘨𝘢𝘮, a small Buddhist shrine cabinet used in Korean Buddhist practice. Symbols such as a phalaenopsis orchid, a canopy, and a strand of wooden prayer beads evoke understanding and love, protection and blessing, and the accumulation of time.
The work suggests that love and time now past may be as fleeting as a dream, yet, like the seasons returning, capable of coming back to life and continuing within us.
This Chuseok, we wish you a warm and peaceful holiday with your loved ones.
