삶을 풍요롭게 하며 그에 의미를 부여하는 것이 예술이 일상에서 하는 역할입니다. 그 중에서 미술은 그 시각적 상징을 통해 삶에 영감을 줍니다. 우리의 일상과 미술의 영감이 만나는 지점에 Gallery Joeun을 자리매김하고자 합니다.

2016년 1월 15일 문화와 감성이 다채롭고 풍성하게 깃든 한남동 유엔 빌리지 길에 그 문을 열었습니다. Gallery Joeun은 국, 내외 중견 작가들의 작품을 체계적으로 미술을 사랑하는 이들에게 선보이고, 우수한 신진 작가들의 생동하는 신선한 작품들을 발굴하여 기획, 전시하는 공간으로 그 역할을 다 하고자 합니다. 더 나아가 실력 있는 동시대 한국 작가들의 작품을 해외에 소개하여 미술을 통한 시대정신의 교류에도 한 몫을 하고자 합니다.

개성이 넘치는 문화 예술의 거리, 한남동 유엔 빌리지 길을 거니는 그 산책길에 고즈넉한 이정표처럼 여러분들의 발길이 머무는 곳이 되겠습니다.

갤러리조은은 2026년 4월 8일부터 12일까지 서울 코엑스 C·D홀에서 개최되는 화랑미술제에 참여합니다.

이번 부스는 회화, 스테인리스 스틸, 레이저 커팅 철제 부조, 도자 작업 등 서로 다른 조형 언어가 공존하며, 이를 통해 한국 현대미술의 다양한 층위를 입체적으로 드러내며 서로 다른 감각이 교차하는 지점에서, 동시대 미술의 새로운 장면을 선보일 예정입니다.

Gallery Joeun will participate in the Korea Galleries Art Fair, held from April 8 to 12, 2026, at COEX Hall C & D in Seoul.

This booth brings together diverse artistic languages—including painting, stainless steel, laser-cut steel reliefs, and ceramics—offering a layered and dimensional view of contemporary Korean art. At the intersection of differing sensibilities, it presents new scenes within contemporary art.

《천천히 단단해지는 것들》은 완성된 형태를 선언하는 전시가 아니다. 그것은 시간이 스며든 선택의 흔적이며, 반복을 통과한 태도의 밀도에 대한 기록이다. 단단해진다는 것은 굳어지는 것이 아니라, 지속을 견딜 수 있는 힘을 갖는 일이다. 그 힘은 언제나 천천히 만들어진다. 그 상태는 머무는 이의 시간에 따라 서로 다르게 읽힐 것이다. _정다운 작가노트 中

《What Becomes Solid, Slowly》is not an exhibition that declares a finished form, but a trace of choices infused with time and a record of the density of an attitude shaped through repetition. To become solid does not mean to harden, but to acquire the strength to endure continuity, and that strength is always formed slowly.
