이번 KIAF에서는 이인섭, 이수홍, 유미선, 권혜조, 공미숙, 서희선, 김지훈, 유수미 작가의 작품을 함께 선보입니다.

사진으로 먼저 보셨던 작품들도 실제로 마주하면 색과 질감, 크기에서 오는 느낌이 꽤 다릅니다.
이번 주말 KIAF에 오신다면 A02에도 들러 천천히 봐주세요.

It’s already Friday, with three more days to go at KIAF SEOUL.

This year, Suppoment Gallery brings together works by eight artists: Lee In Seob, Lee Soo Hong, Yoo Mi Seon, Kwon Hye Jo, Kong Mi Sook, Suh Hee Sun, Kim Ji Hoon, and Yoo Soo Mi.

Many of these works feel quite different in person—the color, texture, scale, and physical presence don’t always come through in photographs.

If you’re at KIAF this weekend, come by A02 and spend some time with the works.
We’ll be here through Sunday.

써포먼트갤러리는 오는 키아프서울에서 이인섭, 이수홍, 유미선, 공미숙, 권혜조, 서희선, 김지훈, 유수미 8인의 작품을 소개합니다.

오랜 시간 함께해 온 작가들과 새롭게 이어가는 작업들을 한 자리에서 보여드립니다. 회화와 조각, 각기 다른 재료와 방식으로 구축된 여덟 작가의 작품을 통해 지금 써포먼트갤러리가 주목하고 있는 한국 현대미술의 여러 장면을 만나보실 수 있습니다.

Suppoment Gallery returns to Kiaf SEOUL with a presentation of eight artists: Lee In Seob, Lee Soo Hong, Yoo Mi Seon, Kong Mi Sook, Kwon Hye Jo, Suh Hee Sun, Kim Ji Hoon, and Yoo Soo Mi.

Bringing together painting and sculpture across generations, the presentation reflects the range of practices that define the gallery’s program today. Each artist retains a distinct position—from material-driven abstraction and spatial inquiry to highly individual approaches to color and image-making.

Rather than placing these works under a single theme, we wanted their differences to remain visible.

공미숙의 《ITER》에서 한 번의 붓질은 한 번의 호흡과 맞닿아 있습니다.
붓은 화면을 지나고, 다시 지나갑니다. 반복되는 움직임은 색을 쌓고, 시간의 흔적을 남기며, 그 사이의 간격은 화면에 고유한 리듬과 공간을 만들어냅니다.

미리 정해진 곳을 향해 나아가기보다, 지나가는 과정 자체를 받아들이는 회화. 속도와 압력, 머뭇거림과 겹침까지 화면에 남겨두며 《ITER》는 그렇게 축적된 시간으로 완성됩니다.

Kiaf SEOUL 2026에서 공미숙의 최근작을 선보입니다.

In Kong Mi Sook’s ITER, each brushstroke corresponds to a breath.

The brush moves across the surface and passes through it again. With each repetition, color accumulates, time leaves its trace, and the intervals between gestures give the painting its own rhythm and spatial tension.

There is no fixed destination. Speed, pressure, hesitation, and overlap are allowed to remain visible, making ITER a record of time built through the act of passing.
