안도현의 (2012–) 연작은 오래된 물건, 쓸모가 다해 어디에도 속하지 않는 사물을 조명하고 타자의 목적이 다해 사라질 예정인 존재를 기억한다. 버려지고 방치된 사물을 수집해 재조합하고 새로운 물체를 조물하는 과정은 흥미진진한 사건의 발생을 의미한다.
함성주는 비디오 게임, 패션 화보, 뮤직비디오, 영화 등 카메라 알고리즘에 의해 왜곡된 스크린 이미지의 궤적을 관찰하고 회화적 움직임을 포착한다. 노이즈와 픽셀의 잔상이 끈적한 농도의 검은색 물감과 함께 빛이 산란하는 무늬로 치환되고, 이미지는 본래의 서사를 휘발한 채 '실제보다 더 입체적인 상태'로 되살아난다.

An Dohyun’s ongoing series (2012–) shines a light on old objects—things that have outlived their utility and belong nowhere—and remembers entities destined to vanish after serving another’s purpose. The process of collecting, recombining, and reshaping these abandoned, neglected objects into new forms marks the inception of a captivating narrative.
Ham Sungju observes the trajectories of screen images distorted by camera algorithms—drawn from video games, fashion editorials, music videos, and films—and captures their painterly movements. The afterimages of noise and pixels are transformed into patterns of scattering light through a viscous, dense black pigment. In this process, the images evaporate their original narratives, reviving instead in a state 'more dimensional than reality itself.'
