Suzueri, a Tokyo-based sound and visual artist, works at the intersection of technology, research, and art. She designs and builds her own devices—often using tools like generative AI and complex engineering—not as mere technical feats, but as gateways to immersive experiences. Her projects connect people, stories, and even moments in history, transforming practical technologies into poetic environments. Whether in sound performances or media-art installations, she creates self-contained worlds where technology takes on a new aesthetic meaning.
Her recent exhibition at the prestigious Shiseido Gallery marked a turning point in her career. Inspired by the life of Hedy Lamarr—a glamorous Hollywood actress and pioneering inventor— Suzueri created an atmospheric installation rich with nostalgia and quiet revelations. Like Lamarr, she is fascinated by how technology shapes the way we relate to one another. The exhibition was more than a tribute to a woman who defied the constraints of her era; it was also a meditation on how advanced technologies are now so deeply woven into human life that they mirror us as much as we shape them.

她近期於資生堂畫廊舉辦的個展，標誌著其藝術生涯的一個重要轉折點。受到好萊塢傳奇女星兼發明家海蒂・拉瑪（Hedy Lamarr）人生的啟發，鈴木創作了一件充滿懷舊氛圍與靜謐啟示的沉浸式裝置。正如拉瑪一樣，她對技術如何塑造人與人之間的關係深感著迷。此次展覽不僅是對一位突破時代束縛女性的致敬，同時也是一次關於當代技術如何深度嵌入人類生活的思考——這些技術既由我們塑造，也反過來映照著我們自身。
