攻撃のためでもない。
これから先、子どもが自分らしく道を歩んでいくための、力強い守護である。

親が願う「強さ」の本質はきっと、昔も今も変わらない。
それは腕力ではなく、恐れや迷いの中でもその気持ちを立て直し、歩みを続けられる心の力だ。
人に優しくあれること、やるべきことから逃げないこと。
そういう静かな強さこそが、人生を支えていく。

五月人形は、その内なる強さを信じるためのシンボルだと思う。
飾るたびに、子どもだけでなく、見守る大人の気持ちも整う。

Samurai armors are not for attack.
They are not tools meant to make someone “strong” in a simple sense.
They are a powerful form of protection—so a child can walk their own path, in their own way.

What parents wish for when they say “be strong” has likely never changed.
It isn’t physical power, but the strength to steady the heart in fear or doubt, and keep moving forward.
To remain kind. To not run from what must be done.
That quiet strength is what supports a life.

We believe samurai armors are symbols that help a child trust the strength within.
Each time they are displayed, they also steady the hearts of the adults watching over them.

Wakaba-Yellow Samurai Armor with Wave & Plover Motif

A wakaba-yellow samurai armor shining atop a warm, wood-grain armor chest.
Because it is finished with gold-leaf pressing, the golden sparkle feels deeper—
and continues to glow for years to come.

On the fukigaeshi (side panels) is nami-chidori, an auspicious traditional motif.
