ご好評をいただいている高橋健太個展「Allohistory Cultures」は、ゴールデンウィーク期間中の5月3日〜5月6日まで休廊いたします。
5月7日より通常通り開廊いたします。

Kenta Takahashi’s solo exhibition, currently receiving a great response, will be temporarily closed during the Golden Week holidays from May 3 to May 6.
The gallery will resume its regular hours from May 7.

AKI INOMATAが、ドイツ・ボンのKunstmuseum Bonnにて個展を開催いたします。

本展では、《やどかりに「やど」をわたしてみる》《貨幣の記憶》《進化への考察 #1：菊石（アンモナイト）》を展示いたします。

MAHO KUBOTA GALLERYでは、4月23日より
髙橋健太による当ギャラリー初個展
「Allohistory Cultures」を開催いたします。

1996年生まれの髙橋は、東京藝術大学日本画専攻で基礎を学び、大学院では版画技法を習得。特定の領域にとどまるのではなく、異なる技術を横断的に取り込みながら、自身の目指す現代のタブローを追求してきました。

アルミ縞鋼板のような工業的イメージを岩絵具で描く試みや、アクリル板に定着させた自然のイメージを、縦横に張られた糸によって物理的にピクセル化する手法など、作品には緻密な技術の集積とコンセプチュアルな遊び心が共存しています。

相反する要素が重なり合いながら構築されるその絵画は、私たちが立つ「現在」の風景を静かに立ち上げます。

本展では、髙橋健太の絵画表現の現在地をご覧いただきます。ぜひご高覧ください。

“Allohistory Cultures,”
the first solo exhibition at the gallery by Kenta Takahashi, opening on April 23.

Born in 1996, Takahashi studied Nihonga (traditional Japanese painting) at Tokyo University of the Arts before further developing his practice in printmaking at the graduate level.
Rather than adhering to a single field, he has developed a cross-disciplinary approach in pursuit of his own vision of the contemporary tableau.

His works bring together meticulous technique and conceptual play: from rendering industrial motifs such as aluminum checker plates using mineral pigments, to physically pixelating natural imagery fixed onto acrylic panels through finely stretched threads.

Through these paintings—where opposing elements overlap and are constructed into a single surface—a quiet landscape of the present emerges.

We warmly invite you to view this exhibition, which marks a recent development in Takahashi’s ongoing exploration of painting.

日本画と版画の技術を横断し、ハイブリッドな現代絵画へと昇華させる若手ペインター、高橋健太の個展を開催いたします。
掲載作品は、版画を施したアクリルパネルの上に縦横に糸を張り、ピクセル状の構造を生み出した要素と、岩絵具の表面張力を用いて描かれた、金属板のように見える質感の画面という、異なる二つの要素から構成された一作品です。

「Allohistory Cultures」と題された本展は、4月23日よりスタートいたします。ぜひご高覧ください。

< Upcoming Exhibition >

We are delighted to present a solo exhibition by Kenta Takahashi, a young painter who synthesizes the techniques of Nihonga and printmaking into a hybrid form of contemporary painting.

The featured work is composed of two distinct elements: one, an acrylic panel on which a print has been applied and overlaid with vertically and horizontally stretched threads to create a pixel-like effect; the other, a surface that appears as industrial metal, rendered using the surface tension of mineral pigments. These contrasting elements are unified within a single work.

Titled "Allohistory Cultures", the exhibition opens on April 23. We warmly invite you to experience it.

ジュリアン・オピーによるGINZA SIXでのアートプロジェクトに、この春、新たに2点の作品が加わりました。
銀座4丁目交差点側のエントランスには、銀座の雑踏と呼応するように、巨大な子供たちが闊歩するダイナミックな映像作品が登場。
屋上の広場には、20体の子供たちの立体作品が設置され、実際に触れて遊ぶことのできるインタラクティブな空間が広がっています。

Two new works have been added this spring to Julian Opie’s ongoing project at GINZA SIX.
At the entrance on the Ginza 4-chome intersection side, a dynamic film work features monumental children striding through the space, echoing the rhythm of the city.
On the rooftop plaza, twenty sculptures of children create an interactive environment where visitors are invited to touch and engage with the works.

"Falling into Gorilla’s Hands" by Atsushi Kaga

Atsushi Kaga first presented his gold leaf paintings in Kyoto in 2020. Six years on, his distinctive narrative has further matured, arriving at a work that suggests a moment of culmination.
Carp drifting gently through cosmic currents. Morning glories that recall the spirit of Suzuki Kiitsu. Usacchi and his paintbrush slowly sinking into the water of a goldfish bowl.
Time, slipping endlessly onward.
And holding it all, the silent presence of two gorillas.

Final day of Art Basel Hong Kong 2026.

Atsushi Kagaが金箔を用いたペインティングを初めて発表したのは、2020年の京都。
それから6年──独自のナラティブはさらに成熟し、ひとつの到達点を思わせる作品が生まれました。
宇宙のうねりをゆったりと泳ぐ鯉。鈴木其一を思わせる朝顔。金魚鉢の水の中に静かに沈んでいくUsacchiとその絵筆。止めることのできない時間の流れ。
そして、それらすべてを受けとめる存在としての、2匹のゴリラ。
