NERVOUS
NERVOUS consists of 99 works forming a single perceptual field shaped by pressure.
Fragments of memory, distortion, emotional turbulence, and invisible tension accumulate throughout the space, gradually destabilizing the relationship between self and world.
Each work functions as part of an experimental visual system in which perception becomes fragile, dialogue begins to erode, and internal pressure quietly reshapes perception and connection.
Rather than presenting fixed narratives, the works trace emotional states that resist articulation — sensations that exist within consciousness and the body, yet evade language.
Recurring motifs throughout the exhibition include perceptual dissonance, anxiety, emotional distance, and the distortion of memory under pressure.
Through repetition, density, and fragmentation, NERVOUS reflects a contemporary condition of overstimulation, paralysis, and disconnection.
The works trace how individuals gradually lose their relationship to perception, connection, and life itself.
「NERVOUS」は、99点の作品によって構成されたひとつの知覚空間です。
記憶の断片、歪み、感情の揺らぎ、そして目には見えない緊張感が空間全体に蓄積され、自己と世界との関係性は徐々に不安定になっていきます。
それぞれの作品は、実験的な視覚システムの一部として機能しています。
知覚は脆くなり、対話は失われ、内側に存在する圧力が静かに知覚やつながりを変化させていきます。
作品群は明確な物語を提示するのではなく、言語化に抗う感情の状態を辿っています。
それは、意識や身体の中に存在しながらも、言葉として捉えることのできない感覚です。
展示全体を通して、不協和な知覚、不安、感情的距離、そして圧力によって歪められる記憶といったモチーフが繰り返し現れます。
反復、密度、断片化によって構築された「NERVOUS」は、過剰な刺激、停滞、断絶に覆われた現代的な状態を映し出しています。
作品群は、人が徐々に知覚やつながり、そして生そのものとの関係を失っていく過程を描き出しています。
