CAI現代芸術研究所は、現代アートが持つ付加価値を明確なビジョンとして捉え、現代社会が求める創造的なライフスタイルを実践すべく、2000年、札幌の中央区円山に北海道発の現代アートの研究所として誕生しました。
2008年には札幌市内大通にCAI02ギャラリーをオープン。
CAI02は、現代アートの企画展示を開催するとともに、新しい才能の発掘を目指し、レンタルギャラリーの開設、さらに交流の場としてカフェを併設しました。
私たちは、主な事業として国内外の質の高い作品の販売・企画展示を行うギャラリー運営、アートをベースとした文化事業、若手育成を目的としたアートスクール事業を展開しています。新たな創造を生むクリエイターの育成とサポート、
また、新しい芸術文化を多くの皆様に紹介することを目的として活動しています。
CAI-Contemporary Art Institute has a clear
vision of “to maximize the value of contemporary art” at the base of its business. To encourage creativity in everyday life, which we need in modern society, we established the first institute of contemporary art in Hokkaido, located in Maruyama, Sapporo in 2000. CAI 02 constantly plans and operates contemporary art exhibitions and also runs rental gallery with the intention of finding new talent, equipped with a café offering a platform enabling communication and interaction. Our main business activities are selling high-quality art works of domestic and foreign artists, operation of gallery and curating exhibitions, providing artistic cultural programs, and running art school aimed at fostering young artists. We also aim at developing and supporting creators, as well as introducing new features of art to many people.
