I visited Thailand in May to see THAIFEX 2026 which is one of the biggest food exhibition in Asia and current situation of retail business especially Matcha.
Some of my business counterparts in Thailand say the economy of Thailand is not good and getting worse. But I felt the passion and heat of business here in Bangkok.
Anyway, it was a good experience since I visited Thailand for a while.
5月にタイを訪れ、アジア最大級の食品見本市の一つである「THAIFEX」を見学するとともに、小売業界、特に抹茶の現状を視察しました。
タイの取引先の中には、タイの経済状況は芳しくなく、さらに悪化していると言う人もいました。しかし、私はここバンコクで、ビジネスの情熱と熱気を感じることができました。
いずれにせよ、久しぶりにタイを訪れることができて良い経験になりました。前回訪問したのは色の違うシャツを着た人たちが小競り合いをおこしていた時期ですので、すっかり様変わりです。
しかしタイの人々の微笑みは変わっていませんでした。
