私たちは、普段から様々な色に囲まれて生活していますが、殆ど無意識の中で、感覚や知覚で色の認識をしています。視覚を通して得られた色の情報は、単に頭で認識するだけでなく、すでに備わっている知識や人間の五感で理解されていくと考えられています。
色が持つそれぞれの意味は、個人の意識にある知識、経験、思想、気分などで異なり、色が放つ世界観はとても自由なものだと思います。「色〜Color〜」と題された本展は、自分自身の人生のストーリーや感情を表すことができるエレメントの一つである“色”をコンセプトとしてカラフルな作品を中心に構成しています。本展を通じて、色の持つパワーや魅力を感じていただけたらと思います。
We are usually surrounded by a variety of colors in our daily lives, and almost unconsciously, we recognize colors through our senses and perceptions. It is believed that color information obtained through vision is not merely recognized by the mind, but is also understood by already existing knowledge and the five human senses.
Each color has a different meaning depending on the knowledge, experience, thought, and mood in an individual’s consciousness, and the worldview that color gives off is very freeing. The exhibition titled “Color” is composed of colorful works based on the concept of “Color” as an element that can express one’s own life story and emotions. I hope that through this exhibition, you will feel the power and allure of color.
