9201 Gallery is the spatial expression of Kunihiko Yazawa’s artistic philosophy and vision of “art that emerges from dialogue, art that creates dialogue.” It is an experimental space that invites the public to engage in a dialogue to explore the possibilities of art in the world today. Since our founding in 2013, we have presented exhibitions of Yazawa’s evolving art, and regularly host Yazawa’s o
ngoing large-scale participatory art project, EGAKU. It is a site for dialogue connecting people and ideas, connecting art to society, business, education through talks, workshops and other creative collaborations - bringing art as an experience to our daily lives. We are located in a quiet leafy enclave in central Tokyo overlooking the Akasaka Imperial Gardens.
9201 Galleryは、2013年に赤坂御用地の豊かな森が一望できる都心の一角に創設されました。以来、特にアーティスト谷澤邦彦の多彩な作品とパワフルなアート活動に注目し、展覧会を企画しています。
また様々なジャンルの専門家とのコラボレーションイベントやトークセッション、バーチャルギャラリー鑑賞などニューノーマル時代の新しいギャラリーとして、実験的な企画にも積極的に取り組んでおります。
