資延美葵は、音を可視化することや、他者との会話を独自のメソッドによって楽譜のように記述することなど、私たちが日常のなかで無意識に共有しているルールや関係性をモチーフに制作を行ってきました。
本展「Notations」では、こうした実践を「記譜（Notation）」という視点から捉え直します。「記譜」という行為を、メディアを横断して経験を編集・翻訳するプラクティスとして位置づけ、資延が音、言葉、身体といった異なるメディアを往還しながら実践してきた記述の方法を、新たな関係性として読み直します。
ここで示される「Notations」は、完成された記譜法ではなく、世界を知覚し、他者と関わるための複数の記述の試みであり、現在進行形で変化を続けるコミュニケーションのあり方そのものです。作品をたどることは、一つひとつの記譜を読み解くことであると同時に、私たち自身の知覚やコミュニケーションのあり方をあらためて見つめ直す経験となります。

2026年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程デザイン専攻修了。主な展覧会に「うえのうえの、まとまのま」（CREATIVE HUB UENO “es”、東京、2026）、「空中―中空」（Kameido Art Center、東京、2025）、「a breath」（百年、東京、2025）、「Between the lines」（The blank gallery、東京、2024）など。主な受賞に、第10回東京藝術大学平成藝術賞。

1989年栃木県生まれ。2015年東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科メディア映像専攻修了。主なキュレーションに、グループ展「Soft Boundaries」（MASUMI SASAKI GALLERY、東京、2026）、樋口誠也「Headrest Theater」（金柑画廊、東京、2025）、山崎稚子「Over the Mountains」（金柑画廊、東京、2023）、蓮輪友子「alpha」（TURNER GALLERY、東京、2022）など。
2020年より出版レーベル「paper company」を立ち上げ、パブリッシャーとして作品集や展覧会図録の企画・制作を行う。主な出版物に、高田怜央詩集『ANAMNESIAC』（2024）、高田マル・遠藤祐輔作品集『.xyz/provoked』（2024）など。

Shinobu Miki has created works that explore the rules and relationships we unconsciously share in our daily lives, such as visualizing sound and transcribing conversations into score-like notation using her own unique methods. In this exhibition,
“Notations,” we reexamine these practices from the perspective of “notation.” We position the act of “notation” as a practice that edits and translates experiences across media boundaries, and we reinterpret Shinobu’s methods of representation—which she has developed by moving between different media such as sound, language, and the body—as new forms of relationship.
The “Notations” presented here are not a completed system of notation, but rather multiple attempts at description aimed at perceiving the world and engaging with others; they are, in essence, the form of “communication” that continues to evolve in real time. Tracing these works involves deciphering each notation, and at the same time, it is an experience that prompts us to reexamine our own perceptions and ways of communicating.

Shinobu Miki completed her Master's degree in Design at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2026.
Her major exhibitions include “Above Ueno, between the in-betweens” (CREATIVE HUB UENO “es”, Tokyo, 2026); “Kūchū – Chūkū” (Kameido Art Center, Tokyo, 2025); “a breath” (Hyakunen, Tokyo, 2025); and “Between the lines” (The blank gallery, Tokyo, 2024).
Her major awards include the 10th Tokyo University of the Arts Heisei Art Award.

Okada Kakeru
Born in 1989 in Tochigi Prefecture. He completed his Master’s degree in Media Imaging at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2015. His major curatorial projects include the group exhibition “Soft Boundaries” (MASUMI SASAKI GALLERY, Tokyo, 2026); “Headrest Theater” by Higuchi Seiya (Kinkan Gallery, Tokyo, 2025); “Over the Mountains” by Yamazaki Wakako (Kinkan Gallery, Tokyo, 2023); and “alpha” by Hasuwa Tomoko (TURNER GALLERY, Tokyo, 2022). Since 2020, he has been active as a publisher and founded the publishing label “paper company,” through which he produces artist books and exhibition catalogues. His notable publications include the poetry collection “ANAMNESIAC” by Leo Elizabeth Takada (2024) and the artist book “.xyz/provoked” by Takada Maru and Endo Yusuke (2024).
