Anne Profile .art
Anne is a visual artist whose work focuses on what existed before labels were attached, on what resonates in the gaps beyond language, and on the quiet gaze of those who stand at the boundary.
Exploring the invisible, the unspoken, and what quietly slips through, Anne’s work brings light to the spaces in between human perception.
By making these gaps the focus, the practice gently unfolds the layered memories that have long been covered.

Anne remains anonymous.

No clear explanations are offered, yet something seems to linger just beyond recognition.

This exhibition marks the first presentation of the works from which Anne’s images emerge.

Not everything is seen at once.

What becomes visible shifts with perception.

We do not attempt to define it.

Instead, we invite you to stay with what resists clarity
— to notice what may have been there, all along.

錦秋の候、澄んだ秋空に恵まれ、
今熊野観音寺での能面展「じぃじの能面展」を無事に終えることができました。

多くの皆さまに足をお運びいただき、心より御礼申し上げます。
境内を包む清らかな空気、色づいた紅葉とともに、能面の様々な表情やの”余白の美”を感じていただけておりましたら幸いです。

お越しくださった皆さま、開催にご協力くださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。会場となりました今熊野観音寺の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。

”アート写真を身近なものに”  
日常とアートとの境界をなくす。

*［POV］は[Point Of View]の略。
直訳すると、「視点」や「観点」という意味。

日常に潜む美しさや興味深さを新たな視点で切り取り、写真を通じて表現するための写真展。京都にある小さなアートギャラリー「ギャラリー琳」をプラットフォームとし開催。

「表現する」というキーワードに着目し、デジタルカメラやスマートフォンによる写真撮影の普及と共に、プリントや展示の機会が少なくなりつつある現代社会において、写真の力を再び感じる場を提供したいという思いから、2023年に初めてPOV Kyoto写真展を企画しました。

3度目の開催となる今回は5名の出展者が、それぞれの視点で撮影した写真を発表。写真のなかで見つけた瞬間を通じて、日常に新たな気付きをもたらし、より豊かな人生を歩む手助けになることを願っています。

“Eliminate the boundaries between everyday life and art.”
 
“POV” stands for point of view meaning of perspective.
POV Kyoto is a photo exhibition hosted by Gallery Rin Kyoto, that eliminate the boundaries between everyday life and art. Focusing on the keyword “Express,” we started this exhibition in 2023 in order to provide a place where people can once again feel the power of photography, where opportunities to print and exhibit are becoming rarer as digital cameras and smartphones have become more close. This year five exhibitors will be presenting photographs from their Point of View.
