「切出小刀をつくろう（全3回）」
＊本ワークショップは全国削ろう会三木大会プレイベントの一つとして開催

鍛冶職人の指導のもと、3日間かけて切出小刀づくりに挑戦。
「鍛接」「成形」「焼入れ・焼きもどし・刃研ぎ」を経て、それぞれが自分だけの一本を完成させました。

まずは、1日目の「鍛接」の様子を写真でご紹介🔥

Blacksmith Experience
Forge Your Own Kiridashi Knife (3-day workshop)
*This workshop is one of the pre-events for the 42nd Kezuroukai Miki Planing Contest.

Under the guidance of a professional blacksmith, you will spend three days crafting your own kiridashi knife through forge welding, shaping, heat treating (hardening & tempering), and blade sharpening.

First, here's a look at Day 1 of the workshop: forge welding.

We’ll be sharing photos first, with videos coming soon.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will compare the sharpening feel and performance of natural stones, which gently refine the cutting edge, and synthetic stones, which offer strong abrasive power. Through practical sharpening exercises, you will explore how each stone affects the edge and work toward achieving your ideal sharpness.
