堀越千秋というアートワールド no.７
2016年、堀越はその半生を捧げたスペインで帰らぬ人となる。ANA機内誌「翼の王国」のアルタミラ洞窟の壁画取材を終えた直後だった。
週刊朝日「美を見て死ね」の著者でもあった堀越はあっという間に散ってしまった。
私たちがアートを享受する際、常に「アートワールド」を意識することが大切である。天才を見出せない世の中は不幸だ。結果、世の中は虚構で溢れてしまった。アーティストの才能を見出すことは人々に真実を見極めるセンスを培う。
日本における真の「アートワールド」の確立は急務だ。このまま無味乾燥な世となるのか。あの堀越の屈託のない笑顔を思い出して欲しい。アートはもっとワクワクするもの、世の中に真の豊かさをもたらすものなのだ。「アートワールド」の創造を見据えた私たちの実験は、”堀越千秋の芸術”再発見とともに今始まったばかりだ。
Horikoshi passed away 2016 in Spain, the country to which he had devoted half his life, shortly after completing an interview on the Altamira Cave murals for ANA's in-flight magazine, Winged Kingdom.Horikoshi, who was also the author of Asahi Weekly's “See Beauty and Die,” quickly passed away.
When we enjoy art, it is important to always be aware of the “art world”.It is unfortunate that the world cannot find geniuses.As a result, the world is filled with fiction.Discovering the talent of artists cultivates people's sense of discerning the truth.
The establishment of a true “art world” in Japan is an urgent task.Will the world continue to be a tasteless place?Remember Horikoshi's carefree smile. Art is something more exciting, something that brings true richness to the world.Our experimentation with the creation of an “art world” has just begun with “The art of Chiaki Horikoshi”.
