Komei Tanaka’s solo exhibition in Paris is fast approaching. If you happen to be in Paris between May 28 and June 13, we would be delighted if you could stop by and visit the exhibition.

この度、フランス・パリのGALERIE BOQUETにて、木彫作家・田中孝明による個展「Chemin II – Là où naît le vent –（風の生まれる場所）」を開催いたします。本展は、株式会社エミー (emmy art +)およびCKG Fine Art Tokyo株式会社の協働企画により実現し、「PRINTEMPS ASIATIQUE PARIS 2026」への正式参加展覧会として位置づけられています。

We are pleased to present “Chemin II – Là où naît le vent –” (“Where the Wind is Born”), a solo exhibition by Japanese wood sculptor Komei Tanaka, to be held at GALERIE BOQUET in Paris, France. This exhibition has been realized through a collaborative initiative between Emmy Co., Ltd. (emmy art +) and CKG Fine Art Tokyo Co., Ltd., and is officially presented as part of PRINTEMPS ASIATIQUE PARIS 2026.

本展「存在の境界線」は、4人の画家による“存在が生まれる場所”をめぐる展覧会です。画面に現れる色や質感の重なりは、私たちの内側にある記憶や感覚と静かに共鳴し、「見る」という行為そのものを、ひとつの呼吸のような体験へと導いてくれるでしょう。

Time and memory, the fluctuations of nature, and the pulse of life quietly breathe beneath the surface of the canvas.
This exhibition, “The Boundaries of Existence,” brings together four painters who explore the place where existence comes into being. The layered colors and textures that emerge on each surface resonate gently with our inner memories and sensations, guiding the act of “seeing” into an experience akin to a single breath.

藤本英明：
1969年、兵庫県明石市生まれ。明石工業専門学校機会工学科卒業。千葉大学工学部工業意匠学科(現: デザイン工学科)卒業。武蔵野美術学園油画科修了。アクリルを塗り重ね、研削を繰り返す独自の技法で、時間の層と記憶の痕跡を描き出す。《Layers of Color》シリーズでは、具象を離れ、色と質感そのものを探求。光や風、水の気配といった自然の揺らぎをとらえ、絵画を「存在の呼吸」として立ち上げている。現在、沖縄県那覇市在住。

Hideaki Fujimoto：
Born in 1969 in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Medical Engineering at Akashi National College of Technology. Graduated from Department of Industrial design, Faculity of Engineering, Chiba University. Completed studies in oil painting at Musashino Art Academy. Through his distinctive technique of layering acrylic paint and repeatedly sanding the surface, Fujimoto visualizes strata of time and traces of memory. In his Layers of Color series, he departs from figuration to explore color and texture in their purest forms. Capturing subtle fluctuations of nature—light, wind, and water—his paintings emerge as a “breath of existence.” Currently based in Naha, Okinawa.

風見佐知子：
14歳から油絵を始め、洋画家の荻原靖弘氏に師事。 花びらの層が重なり合うような色彩豊かな色面構成や色とかたちを独創的な感性で組み合わせるコラージュ作品などが特徴的。また、近年、「未来抽象芸術展」などで毎年意欲的に作品を発表し続け、自身の居場所を内省するかのような深遠で大胆な構図など、新境地を開拓し続けている。

Sachiko Kazami：
Began oil painting at the age of 14 and studied under the painter Yasuhiro Ogiwara. Her work is distinguished by richly layered color compositions reminiscent of overlapping petals, as well as collage pieces that combine color and form through a highly original sensibility. In recent years, she has actively presented new works annually, including at exhibitions such as the Future Abstract Art Exhibition. Continuously exploring new territory, her compositions are both profound and bold, reflecting an introspective search for her own place in the world.

有森正：
1951年佐賀県武雄市生まれ。東京藝術大学・同大学院で、国内におけるテンペラ研究の第一人者としても知られる田口安男（1930～）に師事し、現在は、ベルギーと日本を拠点に創作活動を続けている。自らの制作を「自然の中にすでに存在する美を、ひも解いていく作業」と語る画家は、テンペラや金銀箔、麻布、膠、石膏など多様な素材や古典技法への深い考察をもとに、繊細にして豊かな表情の抽象画面を描きだす。

Sei Arimori：
Born in 1951 in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture. Studied at Tokyo University of the Arts and its graduate school under Yasuo Taguchi (b. 1930), a leading figure in tempera research in Japan. Currently based between Belgium and Japan. Arimori describes his practice as “the act of unraveling the beauty that already exists within nature.” Drawing on deep research into diverse materials and classical techniques—such as tempera, gold and silver leaf, linen, animal glue, and gesso—he creates abstract paintings of delicate richness and depth.

サトウユウ子：
福岡県生まれ。幼少期からピアニストの母よりピアノを教わる。国立音楽大学在学中、早稲田大学モダンジャズ研究会(通称ダンモ)に所属。その後武蔵野美術学園 にて美術を学び1997年沖縄に移住。 深い青と透きとおる白が響き合う、空間的な詩のような絵画を描く。白は余白ではなく、青と呼応しながら呼吸する場として機能する。近年はオイルパステルによる小作品で、音楽的リズムと内なる生命の鼓動を描き出している。

Yuko Sato：
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. Began studying piano from an early age under her mother, a pianist. While attending Kunitachi College of Music, she joined the Waseda University Modern Jazz Research Society. She later studied fine art at Musashino Art Academy and moved to Okinawa in 1997. Her paintings, characterized by deep blues and translucent whites, evoke spatial, poetic worlds. In her work, white is not emptiness but a breathing field that resonates with blue. In recent years, she has also produced small-scale oil pastel works, expressing musical rhythm and the inner pulse of life.

今年初めての投稿になりますが、本年もemmy art+をどうぞよろしくお願いします。現在、emmy art collection 常設展を開催しております。お寒い中ではありますが、お時間ありましたら、是非お立ち寄りくださいませ。今年はギャラリー内での展覧会、イベントの他に、国内外での活動、展示企画も展開しながら、進んでまいります。多くの皆様と、アートを通して心豊かな時間を共有していきたいと思います。よろしくお願い致します。

This is our first post of the year, and we would like to thank you for your continued support of emmy art+ in 2026.
We are currently holding a permanent exhibition of the emmy art collection. Despite the cold weather, we would be delighted if you could stop by when you have the time.

This year, in addition to exhibitions and events at the gallery, we will be expanding our activities and exhibition projects both in Japan and abroad.
