Paulo Dantas「Not a real city」展は、いよいよ最終週（Week 5）を迎えました。明日4月25日［土］は、会場にてゲストを迎えたパフォーマンスと映像上映を開催いたします（入退場自由）。皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。

Paulo Dantas「Not a real city」展のプロセスの一部として、サウンドアーティストの西原尚氏をお迎えし、7時間にわたる「durational live session」を開催いたします。
4週間かけて構築された空間を一つの「集いの場」とし、西原氏とのパフォーマンスを通して環境をさらに活性化させる実践です。
本セッションは12時から19時まで継続的に行われます（入退場自由）。ぜひこの機会にお運びください。
As part of the ongoing process of Paulo Dantas’s exhibition “Not a real city,” we will hold a 7-hour durational live session welcoming sound artist Nao Nishihara.
This practice aims to further activate the environment through the performance with Nishihara, utilizing the space built over four weeks as a “gathering place.”
The session will run continuously from 12:00 to 19:00 (visitors may come and go freely). Please take this opportunity to visit.

The Structure｜空間の構築プロセス
本展は完成された作品の展示ではなく、現在進行形の構築プロセスを提示する試みです。展覧会は1ヶ月を通して、以下の3つのフェーズで展開されます。

Phase 1: 風景と言葉のインストール
映像とテキストの配置。都市の視覚的、言語的な基盤として、長年にわたる観察と記述の蓄積が空間の土台を形成します。

Phase 2: 音の導入
空間への音の進入。新たに作曲された音響に加え、リサーチ期間中に採集したフィールドレコーディングや環境音など、都市の「音の記憶」が空間に重なり合います。

Phase 3: ライブ・パフォーマンス
数週間をかけて構築された環境を一つの集いの場とし、私と招待アーティストたちによるパフォーマンスを通して空間を活性化させます。

会期の3日目に訪れる鑑賞者と、24日目に訪れる鑑賞者とでは、全く異なる空間を体験することになります。本展は、空間との遭遇のすべてを現在進行形のプロセスにおける「ひとつの瞬間」として位置づけ、訪れる者に空間の継続的な読解を促します。

A one-month process-exhibition, by Paulo Dantas
The Structure

The exhibition unfolds in three phases across the month:

Phase 1: Installing Vistas and Words
I install the videos and their embedded texts. Visitors encounter the visual and textual foundations of the city—the accumulated evidence of years of looking and writing, now arranged as groundwork.

Phase 2: The Introduction of Sound
Sound enters the space. Some sounds are newly composed; others are drawn from the same period of gathering—field recordings, ambient captures, sonic memories from the cities.

Phase 3: Live Performances
I and invited artists activate the space as a gathering place, performing within the environment I have spent weeks constructing from years of collected experience.

A visitor on Day 3 will have a completely different experience from one on Day 24. The exhibition builds in a reason for return, and frames each encounter as one moment in an ongoing construction.
