A professional with an outstanding track record, she has collaborated with RJW for years with passion and tireless dedication. Her expertise wil be an invaluable asset in showcasing the talent and creativity of our participants.

Laura Astrologo Porché is an internationally recognized senior jewelry journalist, editor, founder of Journal des Bijoux and international jury member.
Recognized as one of the leading global voices in jewelry communication, she contributes to leading international jewelry and luxury publications. As the founder of Journal
des Bijoux, she has built one of Europe the most respected independent jewelry platforms. She is regularly invited to serve on the juries of prestigious international competitions, moderate panel discussions, deliver keynote talks and act as media partner at the worlds, leading jewelry fairs and industry events.
She lectures at Accademia Italiana and serves on the Board of AGC-Associazione Gioiello Contemporaneo (Italian Association for Contemporary
Jewelry).

“Mi sono laureata in Inghilterra e vivo a Roma grazie alla mia passione per il design, l’arte e la moda. Ho studiato product design all’Istituto Europeo di design in Italia e sono attiva nella progettazione dei complementi d’arredo e della creazione del gioiello contemporaneo nel mio studio di Roma. Guardo a una fusione delle arti con la mia visione multiculturale e cosmopolita. Mi piace creare oggetti contemporanei, freschi, poetici e di forte impatto estetico. Adoro giocare con i ritmi geometrici, l’astrazione, la musicalita’ ed usare colori per creare contrasti ed erompere la ripetitività.”

“I graduated in England and I live in Rome thanks to my passion for design, art and fashion. I studied product design at the European Institute of Design in Italy and I am active in the design of furnishing accessories and the creation of contemporary jewellery in my studio in Rome. I look at a fusion of the arts with my multicultural and cosmopolitan vision. I like to create contemporary, fresh, poetic objects with a strong aesthetic impact. I love playing with geometric rhythms, abstraction, musicality and using colours to create contrasts and break out repetitiveness.”
