We are glad to announce Woo Kukwon’s solo show “The Dark Humor of Fairy Tales” at Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum in Rome

The museum galleries will present the works of Woo Kukwon, an artist born and based in Seoul who is highly active on the international scene. His oil paintings on canvas are inspired by the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, reinterpreted through an Eastern perspective and set within the fantastical and dreamlike landscapes of the Far East.

The exhibition, curated by Maria Giuseppina Di Monte and Giuliana Benassi, is organized in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
