A giungervi è il principio della fotografia che rileva frammenti di vita, penetra nel tempo dell’istante, sviluppa conoscenza, facendo esperienza d’intimità d’esistenza. e nell’opinione corrente, esprimendo una linea poetica di prospettive impensate, dialogando pubblicamente, comunicando attraverso forme e figurazioni inedite. Lo scatto fotografico è quel momento emblematico d’incontro di scambio a doppia cattura: chi riprende, facendo del mestiere di fotografo lo stile della sua vita, è preso a propria volta dall’immagine pubblica, l’effetto che ne viene è una relazione d’ospitalità nel luogo condiviso di quello scatto d’origine dell’opera fra il proprio e l’altrui, fra il improprio e il comune, il locale e il globale, accogliendo, mescolando, confrontando calore e umanità plurale. La dimensione abitativa tradizionale muta, diventa laboratorio, la casa di via tribunali138 è abitata da voci differenti, distanti e correnti, sito di esposizioni e di ricerca, immerso nelle profondità remote della città antica, spinta oltre i limiti di una mostra visiva per distendersi nella dimensione prospettica, partecipata, impropria e propria, comune e disordinaria, ospitando commistioni che danno sguardo a orizzonti d’ambienti mutanti, in equilibrio costante tra storia e presente. Gli ambienti della casa diventano spazi della fotografia, tra archivio e campo d’azione, in cui memoria e produzione costituiscono i principi irrinunciabili che si nutrono nello scambio e nell’incontro. tribunali138 vuole essere un luogo impossibile, un luogo all’opera, dove sperimentare nuove pratiche della memoria storica e della fotografia d’autore.
