Rosa Panaro è stata una grande sperimentatrice e si è dedicata a una ricerca che è rimasta coerente per tutta la vita. Ha rappresentato il quotidiano, il mito e l’ansia del fantastico attraverso un plasticismo dagli effetti sorprendenti.

Rosa Panaro was a pioneering experimentalist whose artistic research remained deeply consistent throughout her life. She depicted the everyday, myth, and the anxiety of the fantastical through a distinct plasticism that yields striking and surprising effects.

DOVE IL FUTURO FU, IL PASSATO SARÀ, IL FORSE É, con Lorenzo Coletta, Luca Gioacchino Di Bernardo, Theo Drebbel e Renato Grieco, presso Tiziana Di Caro, fino al 25 settembre 2026.

La grande tela di Luca Gioacchino Di Bernardo, già esposta alla scorsa Quadriennale di Roma, si intitola “Dio è con noi”. Le figure si affastellano in una dimensione priva di coordinate spaziali. Due busti di angeli si ergono su un cumulo di ossa e corpi di scimmie, sovrastando una mucca che non sembra patire la situazione, ma che comunque si piega.

Siamo di fronte a una sequenza di figure aggregate che rappresentano l’umanità, figlia della società industriale che domina la natura distruggendola.

The large-scale canvas by Luca Gioacchino Di Bernardo, previously exhibited at the last Quadriennale di Roma, is titled “Dio è con noi” [God is with us]. The figures crowd together within a dimension devoid of spatial coordinates. Two busts of angels rise above a pile of bones and monkey bodies, looming over a cow that does not seem to suffer from the situation, yet nonetheless yields.

We are confronted with a sequence of aggregated figures that represent humanity—the byproduct of an industrial society that dominates nature by destroying it.

La Venere incastonata in un piccolo proscenio, è la parabola dell’impossibilità di movimento di un uomo divenuto giocattolo, intrappolato in un momento di deperimento che può culminare sia in una metamorfosi che nell’immutabilità.

The Venus embedded within a small proscenium, serves as a parable for the impossibility of movement of a man turned toy, trapped in a moment of decay that may culminate either in a metamorphosis or in immutability.

Le partiture di Renato Grieco rendono visibile ciò che è invisibile. Il suono è codificato attraverso un linguaggio di segni che non ritroviamo nella scrittura musicale convenzionale contemporanea, ma che rassomiglia piuttosto a quello delle intavolature rinascimentali.

La musica di Grieco nasce dalla semantica della “musique concrète” e culmina in orchestrazioni in cui convivono strumenti antichi, liuteria immaginaria e stanze scultoree..
The scores of Renato Grieco render the invisible visible. The sound is codified through a system of signs not found in conventional contemporary musical notation, but which instead resembles that of Renaissance tablature.

Grieco’s music stems from the semantics of “musique concrète” and culminates in orchestrations that bring together ancient instruments, imaginary lutherie, and sculptural rooms.

DOVE IL FUTURO FU, IL PASSATO SARÀ, IL FORSE É, con Lorenzo Coletta, Luca Gioacchino Di Bernardo, Theo Drebbel e Renato Grieco, presso Tiziana Di Caro, fino al 25 settembre 2026.

Attraverso minimi segni e corrispondenze, il lavoro di Theo Drebbel (Napoli, 1990) attiva una relazione instabile tra memoria, materia e linguaggio, entrando nel tempo passato non come in uno spazio chiuso, ma come in un campo ancora aperto da possibilità.

In mostra un’opera del progetto “Non coerceri maximo contineri minimo divinum est” [Non essere contenuto dal massimo, essere contenuto dal minimo, questo è divino], (2013): 53 micropaesaggi di piante essiccate in piccole scatole di acetato, un alfabeto fragile costruito come gesto rituale e tensione verso l’altro.

Through minimal signs and correspondences, the work of Theo Drebbel (Napoli, 1990) activates an unstable relationship among memory, matter and language, entering past time not as closed space, but as a field still open to possibilities.

On view is a work from the project by Theo Drebbel, “Non coerceri maximo contineri minimo divinum est” [Not to be contained by the greatest, yet to be contained within the smallest, is divine], (2013): 53 micro-landscapes of dried plants in small acetate boxes, a fragile alphabet built as ritual gesture and tension toward the other.

Il 3 giugno si è conclusa “Speaking After the Body” presso Sala Veruda, Trieste. Tra le opere presentate nella mostra, “Sunken Garden: Beheshte Zahra Cemetery, Section 33” (2018) di Shadi Harouni, un’opera che riflette sulle tracce lasciate dalla violenza politica e sulla persistenza della memoria come forma di resistenza.

Ringraziamo calorosamente gli artisti e in particolare l’artista Shadi Harouni, il curatore Lorenzo Lazzari, Adriatico Book Club ETS e tutto il pubblico che ha visitato e vissuto questa mostra, rendendo il debutto di “Dissent Series” un momento di profonda riflessione collettiva sul legame tra arte e dissenso.
On June 3rd, Speaking After the Body came to an end at Sala Veruda, Trieste. Among the works featured in the exhibition was Shadi Harouni’s Sunken Garden: Beheshte Zahra Cemetery, Section 33 (2018), a reflection on themes of memory, loss, and resistance.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the artist Shadi Harouni, the curator Lorenzo Lazzari, Adriatico Book Club ETS, and everyone who visited the exhibition, making the debut of “Dissent Series” a profound collective reflection on the relationship between art and dissent.

Il titolo della mostra è preso in prestito da una poesia di Betty Danon inclusa nel libro d’artista “Poesie nel quadrato, pubblicato nel 1973.

I lavori degli artisti si posizionano perfettamente nel tempo presente, trascendendo però la realtà oggettuale.

The exhibition title is borrowed from a poem by Betty Danon, featured in her 1973 artist’s book “Poesie nel quadrato” [Poems in the Square].

The artists’ works are firmly anchored in the present, yet they transcend objecthood.
