F-LUX. Group Exhibition: 7–13 October 2026, The Arts House, Singapore 🇸🇬

Artists from Italy and Singapore: John Marie Andrada, Sabrina Casadei, Wolfgang Flad, Serena Fineschi, John Leong, Roberto Maria Lino, Weiqi Neo, Shih Yun Yeo

Today Dino Zoli Foundation and DZeAsia present F-LUX. Art’s Fluid Space, a group exhibition exploring the dialogue between art and fluid dynamics, where scientific research meets artistic imagination.

A testament to the power of collaboration, the project has received support from the Ambasciata d'Italia in Hanoi / Embassy of Italy in Hanoi, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and LASALLE College of the Arts. It has further been selected by the Singapore Tourism Board to be part of the official programme of Grand Prix Season Singapore 2026 (GPSS) VisitSingapore

7 out of 8 artists. Weiqi Neo
Her practice explores identity, memory and emotion through ink, writing and storytelling, giving visual form to thoughts and experiences that often remain unspoken. Her work resonates with Heraclitus’ Panta rhei — “everything flows” — and with the Buddhist concept of impermanence, presenting identity as something continuously shaped by time and experience. Fluid dynamics becomes a metaphor for the movement of memory and experience, where past and present coexist within a constantly evolving configuration.

6 out of 8 artists: Roberto Maria Lino from Italy
His practice explores healing, memory and the human condition through thread, stitching and repurposed materials. In the Sutura series, used surgical gowns become the surface for red stitches that evoke veins, arteries and the circulation of life itself. The reference to fluid dynamics adds another layer of interpretation, highlighting the tension between control and chaos, medical precision and emotional turbulence. His work creates a powerful dialogue between the physical and psychological dimensions of healing.

5 out of 8 artists: John Leong from Singapore
His practice explores art as a process of continuous transformation, where form and meaning emerge gradually through layering, reduction and material response. His work resonates with Heraclitus’ idea that “everything flows”, as well as with the Daoist principle of wu wei and Heidegger’s notion of Gelassenheit: different ways of expressing an openness to change rather than the imposition of a fixed outcome. Within this framework, fluid dynamics becomes both a metaphor and a way of understanding the artistic process. Forms shift, merge, recede and respond to changing forces, creating a dynamic balance between intention and transformation.

4 out of 8 artists: Wolfgang Flad
His sculptural practice explores the relationship between matter, space, and transformation. Inspired by organic forms and fluid dynamics, his works turn currents, vortices, and invisible forces into sculptural movement, creating a dialogue between art, nature, and science.

3 out of 8 artists: Serena Fineschi
In Deceiving the Waiting, she transforms suspended time into a continuous flow of gesture, tension and energy. Using a simple Bic ballpoint pen, the artist creates uninterrupted marks that develop through pressure, rhythm and direction, establishing a strong connection with the principles of fluid dynamics. The paper itself becomes an active part of the process, bending, warping and recording the physical intensity of the gesture.
