𝟭𝟵𝟮𝟮-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮. 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗙𝗙
Aec Interesni Kazki ha finito il lavoro sul muro in via delle Cento Stelle!

🔭 L'artista ha scelto di combinare l’immagine di 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢 𝘏𝘢𝘤𝘬 con quella di 𝘡𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘈𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦, il dio del cielo nella mitologia greco-egiziana. Il risultato è un disegno surreale ed evocativo, un'opera che raccoglie l’eredità di temi complessi come la scienza, la storia del cosmo e della civiltà umana.
Grazie al suo alfabeto visivo estremamente riconoscibile, AEC è uno dei pochi muralisti capaci di unire il figurativo e l’allegorico senza scadere nella banale riproduzione didascalica.

E quindi ringraziamo di cuore AEC per aver lasciato a Firenze un'opera nuova, un invito a interrogarsi e immaginare.

Aec Interesni Kazki has finished the mural on Via delle Cento Stelle!

🔭 The artist chose to combine the image of 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢 𝘏𝘢𝘤𝘬 with that of 𝘡𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘈𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦, the god of the sky in the Greek-Egyptian mythology. The result is a surreal and evocative work, a legacy of complex themes such as science, the history of the cosmos and human civilization.
Thanks to his highly recognizable visual alphabet, AEC is an artist capable of combining the figurative and the allegorical without lapsing into banal didactic reproduction.

And so we sincerely thank AEC for leaving Florence a new work, an invitation to question and imagine.

🌌 Manca poco alla fine del work in progress che ha portato un artista di fama internazionale a interfacciarsi con il tesuto urbano fiorentino. Per Aec Interesni Kazki la ricerca artistica rappresenta "𝘶𝘯'𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘢̀ 𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘭’𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰”, proprio come per l'indagine astrofisica di Margherita Hack.

🎇 Sul muro in via delle Cento Stelle, teorie quantistiche e ignoto si intreciano dando vita a un mondo nuovo: vibrante, onirico, fantascientifico.

🎇 On the wall on Via delle Cento Stelle, quantum theories and the unknown intertwine, creating a new world: vibrant, dreamlike, science fiction.

I punti di contatto tra la divulgatrice e l'artista sono numerosi: entrambi tesi verso l’ignoto, entrambi appassionati al cosmo e alla scienza, entrambi ricercatori instancabili. Lei con gli strumenti ottici, lui con il pennello e il supporto del muro.

The points of contact between the popularizer and the artist are numerous: both striving toward the unknown, both passionate about the cosmos and science, both tireless researchers. She with optical instruments, he with brush and wall support.

Un primo collaudo delle luci, il check delle mail e qualche prova per il nuovo allestimento.

In via 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘇𝘇𝘂𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝟳𝟰𝗮𝗿, la nostra porta sta per riaprirsi. 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥𝘪̀ 13 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘦 inauguriamo ufficialmente il ritorno in galleria con nuovi orari e nuovi appuntamenti in serbo: gli spoiler sono concessi solo a chi passa a salutarci! 🔥

Il mese di settembre si apre con una collaborazione inedita che ci ha permesso di richiamare in Italia, a Firenze, un artista di rilievo internazionale.

✺ Evocativo, affezionato al sovrannaturale, attratto con magnetismo dalla mitologia. L’umano, la natura e la cosmologia si intrecciano nella pittura surrealista di 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘀𝗲𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘂𝘀𝗼𝘃 𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝗘𝗖. Artista ucraino, attivo dalla fine degli anni ’90 sulla scena underground di Kiev.

AEC porta a Firenze la sua arte allegorica ispirata al passato, tesa verso il fantastico ma soprattutto volta a “𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘭’𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰”.

The month of September opens with an unprecedented collaboration that has allowed us to bring back to Florence, Italy, an artist of international prominence.

✺ Evocative, fond of the supernatural, drawn with magnetism to mythology. The human, nature and cosmology are intertwined in the surrealist painting of 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘀𝗲𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘂𝘀𝗼𝘃 𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝗘𝗖. Ukrainian artist, active since the late 1990s in the Kiev underground scene. ✺

AEC brings to Florence its allegorical art inspired by the past, straining toward the fantastic but above all aimed at "𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦."

💥 𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡, una performance che ha unito le radici dell'arte urbana, le multisonorità del jazz e il Teatro Fonderia Leopolda Follonica in quanto luogo storicamente deputato alla fusione dei metalli. Grazie agli scambi commerciali con New York, la produzione della ghisa rese Follonica cruciale nella costruzione della Grande Mela, dalle linee metropolitane al quartiere di Manhattan. Per Street Levels Gallery, questo legame si è reso capace di intercettare un'ulteriore suggestione: la metropoli statunitense come melting pot, crocevia di culture e discipline, come quella del writing e del jazz. E proprio come la fonderia costruisce elementi destinati a fondersi in un corpo solo, anche l'arte e la musica sono fatte di informazioni che, nel manifestarsi, radunano suggestioni diverse in un'unica esperienza. Questo è stato FUSE THE FUSION, la fusione di culture e discipline, di scrittura e improvvisazione, di popoli e geografie.

💥 𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡, a performance that brought together the roots of urban art, the multisounds of jazz, and the Teatro Fonderia Leopolda Follonica as a place historically devoted to metal casting. Thanks to commercial exchange with New York, cast iron production made Follonica crucial in the construction of the Big Apple, from subway lines to the Manhattan neighborhood. For Street Levels Gallery, this connection became capable of intercepting an additional suggestion: the U.S. metropolis as a melting pot, a crossroads of cultures and disciplines, such as writing and jazz. And just as foundry builds elements destined to merge into one body, art and music are also made up of information that, in manifesting itself, gathers diverse suggestions into a single experience. This was FUSE THE FUSION, the fusion of cultures and disciplines, of writing and improvisation, of peoples and geographies.

🙏🏼 Street Levels Gallery therefore thanks all those who made this collective fusion possible. Thanks to 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗧, Michelangelo Scandroglio and the 𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗞. Il graffiti writing incontra lo spazio sonoro del GREY CAT JAZZ Festival. Questo sabato sarermo alla Sala Leopoldina del Comune di Follonica insieme a 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗧, per una live performance. L'artista si esibirà insieme ai 𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗞.𝗕𝗢𝗬 𝟰𝘁𝗲𝘁 - quartetto composto da Michelangelo Scandroglio (contrabbasso), Luis Vinoza (batteria), Rupert Cox (piano synt), Christos Styliandes (tromba) - che esplora le matrici del groove, del jazz e dell'hip hop.

Graffiti writing meets the sound space of the GREY CAT JAZZ Festival. This Saturday we will be at the Sala Leopoldina of the Comune di Follonica together with 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗧, for a live performance. The artist will perform together with the 𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗞.𝗕𝗢𝗬 𝟰𝘁𝗲𝘁 - a quartet composed of Michelangelo Scandroglio (double bass), Luis Vinoza (drums), Rupert Cox (synt piano), Christos Styliandes (trumpet) - exploring the matrices of groove, jazz and hip hop.

La firma è quella di Tiziano Tancredi che, insieme a Mimmo Rubino (alias 𝗥𝘂𝗯 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆), commenta episodi biografici dell'artista ed eventi rilevanti sullo scenario artistico internazionale: dalla 50/50 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 del 2014, al neologismo "artification", all'incontro culturale tra Mosca e Washington, allo sconfinamento tra graffitismo, arte urbana e contemporanea.

Una pubblicazione che va a caccia di problemi, proponendo "soluzioni poetiche" di volta in volta, caso per caso, indagine dopo indagine.

It is authored by Tiziano Tancredi who, together with Mimmo Rubino (aka 𝗥𝘂𝗯 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆), comments on biographical episodes of the artist and relevant events of the international art scene: from the 50/50 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 of 2014, to the neologism "artification," to the cultural encounter between Moscow and Washington, to the encroachment between graffiti, urban and contemporary art.

A publication that hunts for problems, proposing "poetic solutions" on a case-by-case, investigation-by-investigation basis.

E come ogni cantiere che si rispetti, non poteva che finire con qualche girono di ritardo!

🚲 Finalmente ci siamo. La struttura esterna della nuova 𝗖𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝙍𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙚 è stata rigenerata: adesso ospita l'opera di 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴, tra biciclette fitomorfe, dettagli floreali e volti umani amalgamati alla natura con fare fluido e spontaneo.

🚧 Domani si terrà l'assemblea pubblica di restituzione del progetto 𝘜𝘙𝘉𝘈𝘕 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘐𝘓𝘐𝘌𝘕𝘊𝘌. Racconteremo l'intervento per condividerlo con i cittadini, aprendo un dialogo su nuovi spunti, idee e riflessioni collettive.

And like any self-respecting construction site, it could only end a few days late!

🚲 We are finally there. The exterior structure of the new 𝗖𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝙍𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙚 has been regenerated: it now houses the work of 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴, among phytomorphic bicycles, floral details and human faces amalgamated with nature in a fluid and spontaneous way.

🚧 Tomorrow we will hold the public assembly of restitution of the 𝘜𝘙𝘉𝘈𝘕 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘐𝘓𝘐𝘌𝘕𝘊𝘌 project. We will narrate the intervention to share it with citizens, opening a dialogue on new insights, ideas and collective reflections.

Continuano i lavori di Street Levels Gallery e A Testa Alta E.T.S. per il progetto 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. In via Matteotti a Grosseto, l'opera di Alleg è in corso di realizzazione. Manca davvero poco alla fine. L'artista ha realizzato un muro dedicato alla nuova funzione della palazzina, una ciclo officina per promuovere una viabilità sostenibile! 🚴🏻‍♀️

𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 è il progetto di Street Levels Gallery e A Testa Alta E.T.S. vincitore del bando 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘢𝘣 – 3° 𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦 promosso dal Ministero della Cultura. In queste settimane ci troviamo a Grosseto insieme ad Alleg, l'artista che ci accompagnerà in questo percorso di rigenerazione urbana su base culturale.

Attarverso il recupero della struttura di via Matteotti 77/79 (GR), la nostra galleria e associazione realizzerà un intervento murale per la nuova ciclo officina Ruote Libere e, insieme ai nostri partner, proporremo interventi di 𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘮, azioni di 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘬𝘦 e degli 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 di quartiere sul tema della trasformazione di una zona marginale in un luogo da condividere con la comunità.

𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is the project of Street Levels Gallery and A Testa Alta E.T.S. winner of the call 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘢𝘣 - 3rd 𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦 promoted by the Ministry of Culture. In these weeks we are in Grosseto together with Alleg, the artist who will accompany us on this path of urban regeneration on a cultural basis.

Through the recovery of the structure of Via Matteotti 77/79 (GR), our gallery and association will create a mural intervention for the new cycle workshop Ruote Libere and, together with our partners, we will propose interventions of 𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘮, actions of 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘬𝘦 and the 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 of the neighborhood on the theme of transforming a marginal area into a place to share with the community.
