Peacebuilding in practice.

Throughout the week, our students took part in Peace Lab, a simulation exploring diplomacy, leadership, and cooperation. They managed resources, built alliances, and negotiated solutions to shared challenges.

Todayโ€™s forum brought their work together as they presented proposals for governing a new island and addressing its needs.

A week of learning to listen, find common ground, and make decisions together.

How can education help build peace?

At Summer Peace University, our approach is guided by three principles: education as a bridge between cultures, cooperation as a path to mutual growth, and knowledge as a common good.

Through shared learning and intercultural dialogue, we put these principles into practiceโ€”connecting people, exchanging perspectives, and developing leaders for peace.

The SPU programme is a learning journey that explores the key dimensions of the contemporary world, integrating geopolitics, culture and global vision into a single structured pathway

Throughout the 4 weeks, the following themes will be addressed:

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ ๐–๐„๐„๐Š ๐Ÿ
The Mediterranean as an original space of encounter among peoples, cultures and models of coexistence

๐ŸŒ ๐–๐„๐„๐Š ๐Ÿ
Global dynamics and the balances that shape the contemporary international system

๐Ÿ’ก ๐–๐„๐„๐Š ๐Ÿ‘
The relationship between cultural power, technological innovation and the human dimension

๐Ÿ›๏ธ ๐–๐„๐„๐Š ๐Ÿ’
Global institutions between science, cooperation and ethical responsibility

A pathway that does not observe the world from a distance, but crosses it, interprets it and connects it with the competencies of the future

๐Ÿค It means sharing a journey with students, academics and professionals from different countries, comparing perspectives, experiences and worldviews within an open and international academic environment

๐Ÿ’ญ It also means rediscovering the value of time dedicated to listening, reflection and the building of meaningful relationships

๐ŸŒ The Summer Peace University is the opportunity to live all this within a programme that integrates learning, intercultural dialogue and active participation
