It is a living enthnographic museum depicting the enormous diversity, architecture and lifestyle of the folks & tribal people of the sates of the West Zone, namely Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and UT of Daman, Diu& DNH. It offers a great platform to regional and local artists and craftsmen to showcase their talents.

“Shilpgram” has travelled a great journey receiving acclamation far and

wide from domestic and foreign tourists and has found a dominant place in reputed international tourist guide books. One of the important objectives of Shilpgram is in the sphere of increasing awareness and knowledge of rural life and crafts, specifically, for the younger generation.
