Posted • The inaugural day of the Bengal Biennale - Santiniketan Chapter was truly magnificent!

A day filled with creative energy - from welcoming our artists, a panel discussion, planting a tree to insightful discussions and immersive walk-throughs. The evening closed with a soul-stirring musical performance by Shubha Mudgal.

This was truly the perfect start to a celebration of art, culture and culture!

Reposting from On November 29th 2024, we unveil the very first chapter of the Bengal Biennale in the heart of Santiniketan a place where art, culture, and innovation converge in the most inspiring way.

This Bengal Biennale is not just an art exhibition but a celebration of creativity, a tribute to the timeless legacies and a bold step into the future of contemporary art. Santiniketan, the land of visionaries, has always nurtured the minds that have shaped our cultural landscape, and

now, we gather here once again to honor that legacy while

embracing new, thought-provoking perspectives.

On this inaugural day, we begin a journey that connects artists, thinkers, and dreamers from across Bengal and India, offering a platform for their voices, their stories and their visions. With over 100+ artists spread out over 25+ venues coming together from diverse backgrounds, the Bengal Biennale is set to ignite insightful talks, engaging panel discussions and captivating performances on art, culture and the ever-evolving nature of our world.

Let's come together to mark the beginning of a new chapter in Bengal. Let's inspire the future, celebrate the past, and create a present full of creativity, diversity and artistic brilliance!
