Others live on in the stories people continue to tell.

This is one such memory.

Years ago, Gallery Pradarshak had the privilege of hosting renowned sculptor Narayan Sonawadekar for what remains one of the most memorable demonstrations held in our space.

For those who were present, it was a rare opportunity to witness a master at work — to see form emerge from material, and to experience the patience, discipline, and imagination that sculpture demands.

Over the last 32 years, Gallery Pradarshak has been more than a venue for exhibitions. It has been a space for learning, dialogue, and encounters with artists whose work has left a lasting impression on generations of art lovers.

As we celebrate , we look back with gratitude at moments like these — moments that remind us why galleries matter.

Not just for the art they display, but for the experiences they create.

32 years ago, Gallery Pradarshak opened its doors with a simple belief — that art deserves a space.

Over the years, that space has become so much more.

A place where artists found confidence, where visitors discovered new perspectives, where conversations unfolded unexpectedly, and where friendships quietly took shape.

Generations of artists, art lovers, collectors, students, and curious minds have walked through these doors, each leaving behind a small part of their story.

As we celebrate 32 years, we are deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

The artworks have changed.
The faces have changed.
The times have changed.

But our commitment to creating space for art remains the same.

Here’s to the memories we’ve shared, the conversations yet to happen, and the stories still waiting to be told.

Some artworks don't just hang on walls. They stay with us. 🎨✨

A gallery visit is rarely just about what we see. Sometimes it's about the conversations we have, the memories we make, and the emotions a single artwork quietly awakens within us.

An exhibition may showcase dozens of works, yet years later, one image, one colour, or one feeling still lingers in our minds.

Perhaps the artworks that stay with us aren't the ones we understand the most they're the ones that meet us exactly where we are.
