Monalisa Kalagram

Monalisa Kalagram The Monalisa Kalagram is an art centre/gallery that aims to promote art and create a community of artists, painters, poets, writers, creative thinkers.

The Monalisa Kalagram is the dream venture of mother daughter duo, Mona and Lisa Pingale. Set in the serene (when the train is not thundering past, that is) and verdant Pingale Farms, the gallery wishes to not just display art but to nurture and promote all arts, visual, performing or written. The Monalisa Kalagram will host art shows, conduct workshops, screen documentaries, do poetry or book readings.......

Contemporary Expressions brings together an exceptional selection of works, featuring 14 masters and 134 artworks—each offering its own voice, language and way of looking at art.

In this conversation, Lisa Pingale and Rajneeta Kewalramani share a little about the exhibition and what makes this show particularly special.

We invite you to come by, spend some time with the works, discover the artists, and indulge yourself in art. And, of course, show us some love while you’re here.

Over the past week, The Next Chapter – Third Edition has welcomed an overwhelming response from students, artists, collectors, and visitors. It has been particularly encouraging to see so many people spend time with the exhibition, engage with the works, and discover the breadth of talent represented this year—despite the relentless monsoon in Pune.

To everyone who has chosen to acquire an artwork from the exhibition, thank you. Your support extends beyond the work itself; it encourages young artists to continue pursuing their creative journeys with conviction and reminds them that thoughtful, original work finds an audience. As a gallery committed to nurturing emerging talent, there is no greater affirmation of the purpose behind this exhibition.

We are now in the final week of The Next Chapter – Third Edition. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit yet, we invite you to experience the exhibition before it closes.

Bringing together artists from ten distinguished fine art institutions, The Next Chapter offers a remarkable range of works across mediums, ideas, and price points. Whether you’re an avid collector or considering your very first artwork, this exhibition is an opportunity to discover and support the next generation of artists.
