Sara Abbasianโ€™s solo ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ช๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ unfolds as an immersive, evolving environment, where camouflage tones gradually take over the gallery space. Her works probe what is concealed, why it remains hidden, and what is permitted to surface. Across its many shades, green becomes charged, signaling militarisation while quietly embedding itself within the fabric of the everyday.

Green Weapons is currently on view at VHCโ€”if you havenโ€™t experienced it yet, itโ€™s worth a visit.

Drawing from the foundational principle of camouflageโ€”alignment with oneโ€™s environmentโ€”the Abbasianโ€™s works echo a chromatic and material sensitivity: verdant greens and browns evoke forest terrains, muted beiges and ochres reference arid geographies, while greys and whites allude to colder, more desolate climates. These shifting palettes underscore the fluid relationship between body, weapon, and landscape, where distinctions blur and boundaries dissolve.

Sara Abbasianโ€™s ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ช๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ is now on view at VHC. In her latest body of work, Abbasian examines camouflage as both military strategy and visual language of power. Rooted in survival, camouflage conceals in order to dominate, turning invisibility into an active force. By isolating and recontextualising weapon camouflage systems, Abbasian highlights their coded reliance on landscape, forest greens, desert beiges, snowbound whites. In foregrounding these aesthetics, she asks how violence hides in plain sight, and how familiarity itself can mask threat.

Catch a glimpse of artist Ravi Morya in his studio as he prepares for his solo exhibition ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€, opening at VHC.

Born in Gwalior (1992), Moryaโ€™s practice is rooted in repetition, of gestures, motifs, and processes, as a way to reflect on memory, time, and collective human experience. A BFA graduate from RMT University, his works have been shown across major solo and group exhibitions in India, and he is a recipient of several national awards and the Ministry of Cultureโ€™s Young Artist Scholarship.

Today is the last day to catch Appearing at VHC. Curated by Yash Vikram, the group exhibition features works by Arieno Kera, Katayoun Karami, Monali Meher, Ritika Sharma, and Sejal Parekh. Appearing explores the tangible and intangible dimensions of spaceโ€”how bodies enter, inhabit, and are shaped by it. Through contemporary art practices, the exhibition reflects on movement, gendered gestures, resistance, and the quiet assertion of agency within systems of control.

Weโ€™re thrilled to open Ravi Moryaโ€™s solo exhibition, ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€, at VHC.In his works, the surface becomes โ€œ...

In his works, the surface becomes โ€œa living, breathing archive โ€” absorbing, sheltering, and revealing layered marks of history,โ€ where gestures of addition and erasure quietly hold memory and time.

The exhibition previews on Saturday, 17th Jan 2026, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at VHC. The exhibition will run through 21 Feb 2026.
